This is my own words from my experience. As a parent, nothing brings me greater joy than to see my daughter's radiant with happiness. It was greatest memories we've created together. During my recent stay at Rainland Athirappilly, Nestled in the heart of Kerala's lush landscapes, Rainland Athirappilly beckons to those seeking solace amidst the verdant beauty of God's Own Country. As a resident of Kerala, I've always been captivated by the natural wonders that adorn our state, and Rainland Athirappilly promised to be a sanctuary where I could truly immerse myself in Kerala's rich tapestry of sights, sounds, and flavors. Ramesh is a seasoned professional who goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of guests. As the front desk manager, he greeted me with a warm smile upon arrival and efficiently handled the check-in process. Throughout my stay, Ramesh was always available to address any queries and concerns I had, providing helpful recommendations for local attractions and activities. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every interaction, making me feel valued and well taken care of during my time at Rainland Athirappilly. I had the pleasure of interacting with two key members of the staff, Ramesh and Rahul. moreover,I have no words to explain their dedication, professionalism, and warmth.Ramesh and Rahul are not just employees of Rainland Athirappilly; they are ambassadors of hospitality who embody the resort's commitment to providing exceptional service and creating unforgettable memories for guests.I am grateful for the opportunity to have met them. I had the pleasure of had the culinary creations of Chef Shuff Raneesh, my experience with him was extraordinary. His innovative dishes, bold flavors, and commitment to quality set him apart as a true culinary artist.If you're planning to visit Athirappilly, I strongly recommend rainland resort for unforgetable moments.

The room was big

Nice place to stay and the room service was really good.

The property is in a beautiful location. Calm and peaceful.

What a peaceful, proficient ayurvedic resort in an idyllic forest setting. Although we didn’t initially reserve more than the mid-priced “Karma” level lodge rooms thru Booking, we converted to a 7 day all-inclusive package after seeing the setup & hastily doing the math on arrival. Can vouch for quantity & quality of the treatments, sometimes 3 per day, and our very minor aches & pains were history by departure. Both my husband and I had their joint treatment package (me for an occasionally achy knee from skiing, and he for an off & on running injury.) Hats off to their excellent chef for the creative & scrumptious meals; retreat staff are also responsive & caring. The yoga & meditation classes were ably led. The rooms are comfortable with super air con. The pool is a real treat considering the heat. Other guests represent a nice mix of ages (from kids to the senior set) and nations, maybe a third being from India. Everyone we met was interesting & very personable. With the resort’s focus on improvement, I hope they’re heading toward better communication about 3 important things: 1. What all the medicines, lotions & potions are & how they work. You really have to diligently pursue answers from them. Honestly, other ayurvedic resorts have much better explanations online & that’s where we learned the most. 2. What individual treatments & packages cost—they really should post all options & costs online in advance. Not only would it reduce perceived decision-making stress on arrival, it would likely increase # of people participating in treatment packages. Folks who only took a few treatments during their stay didn’t seem much impressed, likely because it wasn’t comprehensive or customized. Included here are photos of the resort’s pricing structure I saw only briefly on arrival, they’re not terribly transparent, that part needs work. 3.

Location

Our stay was beyond amazing! The property was wonderful, but what truly made it exceptional was the incredible staff. They welcomed us like family and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. A special shoutout to Shaji sir, who not only accompanied us to the breathtaking Athirapally waterfalls but also guided us through a serene shortcut on our return journey, arranging an auto for us to visit Vazhachal falls. He even made sure we had water bottles for our adventures. Such genuine hospitality is rare to find in hotels. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!

The house is new and the rooms are modern and well designed. The bathroom had a great walk-in shower. The house is surrounded by green nature and on a small river, so the view from the terrace was very idyllic and relaxing. Food was good. Lunch and dinner were served on the terrace.
