🛋 Room: small but tidy, it has 2 double bed and private bathroom. Soap and toothpaste were provided. On the 1st floor of a rural house, the view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. ☀🌴 🏠 The location: The house is in the middle of farming fields. All around beautiful nature, flowers and jungle. Great to relax and enjoy some peace. 🌸 👤 People: They made the true highlight of my stay! Unfortunaly the host does not speak English, but this did not prevent us to communicate. He showed me around and he put me in touch with his nephew, that organized a car trip to visit the hallmarks of the area: Tholpetty Wild Life Sanctuary Banasura Sagar Dam Banasuramala Waterfalls Kabini River Island It was a lot of fun... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 🌟 My stay there was too short. I can't wait to visit again, and spend more time with some of the kindest, most genuine and generous people I have met in India. Thank you. 🙏

Our host, Chandran, was warm and helpful and the homely meals were absolutely delicious. Since Panamaram is a small town, we booked our own bikes for accessibility and used local transport to visit other places. Overall, my trip was peaceful, pleasant, and filled with relaxed vibes.

The entire property at Kalidasa is beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was great about it. Few points that exceptionally stand out are - - Home made food offered - breakfast and dinner are as fresh and delicious as it gets. We absolutely loved the poori, kurma, appam, drum stick, jackfruit based other traditional dishes made to the perfection. - Cleanliness is top notch. The room and bathroom were spotless. The rest of the property is also very clean, felt like a 4 star property. - Ambience of the place - tranquil, beautiful, sufficiently connected with nature, with all the required comfort. The hammock is peace and coziness. Sitting in balcony gazing out at the nature while sipping your tailor made tea was bliss. We could take several walks around the area, it was fun and adventurous. - Hosting family - extremely warm and service oriented. I am very thankful to them for welcoming us and taking such good care of us. Our every request was met enthusiastically and no fuss. For ex. When asked for hot water to drink in the morning, Mr Sudheesh happily provided spices infused hot water which was quite therapeutic. - Pet support - Very friendly and supportive towards our adorable pet. Clean, comfortable, great get- away- from- everything location. The best staff! Meals on-site were delicious, too, and there's a hammock and a dog. It's not a vibing backpacker hostel, but I really enjoyed my stay here
