my trip was for ranthambore tiger reserve. but all the tiger reserve visitors need to be educated about the DOs & DON'Ts in forest. out of 4 canter safaris, in 3 canters the fellow travelers were casual & not bothered about etiquettes to be followed in forest. such tourists should be handed over few mths ban

The greatest attraction is the tiger safari.
The greatest attraction is the tiger safari. I travelled between 27th December and 29th December 2023. It was really very cold, given the fact that I am from the city of Kolkata. The jeep or canter that came to collect us. i.e. the travellers from their hotels for the morning slot, came at around 6.15 am. These jeeps/canters are open on the top and on the sides. The wind gusts when these jeeps/canters travel fast through the roads surrounded by natural vegetation/forests in early morning send shivers. IN such winter days, one must be properly covered, particularly with woolen coats, sweaters, socks, shoes, woolen caps, mufflers and preferable monkey caps with as less skin exposed as possible. In rainy seasons, one must carry umbrellas when they board the jeep/canters in case it rains.

OK this place is heavily commercialized, but despite some reviews, I found (after six tours) the guides are very knowledgeable and try their best to see a tiger. It just doesn't work all the time, you'll need some luck, especially in winter...

It was very hot at this time.
It was very hot at this time. Otherwise, Sawai Madhopur is very good. Can find easily transportation, restaurant, and hotel,s. The chopati for getting food is very excellent every one should enjoy at least once.
For safari visits only open jeep or canter is available. So in this hot season, it is very difficult to visit a safari.
We absolutely loved the room and overall property. It is quite spacious with huge dinning area both indoor and outdoor, beautiful pool area and serene garden space where they also arranged for evening tea & snacks. The hotel manager was kind to provide us with some small mineral bottles in a bag for the Safari trip. The staff was courteous and helpful. They also arranged a small birthday celebration for my husband. Special mention to Mr. Dushyant Singh who wished us good luck for Tiger sightseeing and next day we actually saw one 😁.
Incredibly beautiful hotel in a great location for Ranthambore National Park and safaris. The rooms are a great size and the showers were also great. The larger pool is absolutely beautiful, and it's a shame there were no loungers around here as we would have spent all of our time here. The buffet meals were all delicious with a wide variety of Indian foods, and usually one or two western options as well. There is also constant live Rajastani music and dance entertainment which gave a lovely ambience to the main courtyard.
We stayed at Raj Palace Hotel for 1 night to do the tiger safari at Ranthambhore (which we pre-booked). The room was lovely and comfortable, we really enjoyed having cocktails by the pool and the delicious Rajasthani food cooked in the restaurant and the staff were very professional and attentive. They also organised a driver for us to visit Ranthambhore fort and allowed us to check out late as our train wasn't until the evening. We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Raj Palace Hotel and would highly recommend it.
Our stay at Hotel Tiger Haveli was the perfect introduction to India. Anshuman and his father had all our needs covered. The hotel is clean and comfy. Everything is fair and best of all they arranged all Safaris for us. We had everything organised for us from the UK so it was super easy. They really tried to get us on the best rides and we ended up seeing Tiger and sloth bear in Zone 8. Obviously you have to be a little lucky. They are absolutely trustworthy so I can only recommend them.
Staff was really friendly. Best location because the safari vehicles take off from there in the morning allowing you to get on first and secure the seats you want before anyone else gets on. In the afternoon I think it also usually starts from near there so you usually can also do similar. Breakfast was also really good, allowing you to order what you want. Has a good gym nearby and near a good non-veg restaurant (The Royal Food Plaza). The in-house restaurant is also really good.
They were amazing, this hotel is newly renovated and was a welcome luxury after some of the lesser hotels we stayed at in Delhi and Agra. I was dealing with an ailment before arriving there and they personally took me to two different doctors, translated for and transported me to get it sorted. This small town felt very safe and tight-knit, and the staff of this hotel felt the same. Also the pool was amazing. Would love to stay here again!
Location is very good. Near to Railway Station. Eateries are nearby. Smooth check in check out experience. Property is very clean. Very peaceful. Very polite and well behaved staff. Hotel food is very tasty. Property is very affordable. Staff can also helps in booking of safari depending upon the seat availability. Near to Zone 1-5 entry point gate. You can also see Tiger reserve mountains from there terrace. Very safe also.
It’s the most beautiful hotel you can choose in Ranthambore. They have a beautiful garden, the rooms are huge and completely calm. On the one hand everything is pretty new and modernly equipped and on the other hand it’s still cozy. The service was outstanding, too. The prepared fresh and real coffee early mornings before the safari started and waited with breakfast till you came back.
Warm welcome, very friendly staff all through, excellent buffet breakfast, buffet lunch, buffet dinner, delicious evening snacks, etc. Resort style settings, well maintained. They even packed our breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning around 6 am. We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay, highly recommend the hotel.
All the staff, the food and the location of the hotel are excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great.
The host is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife and tigers and help you to get the best from your safari experiences. we saw the mother and 3 cubs super close.
The property was beautiful and was clearly well looked after by the hotel staff.
The hotel staff were very attentive and everything they could help with they would. The food on site was fantastic and we had some of the best food here. The garlic naan are as good as other reviews say!
Big recommendation, the staff is wonderful, very friendly and outgoing! Clean and big rooms, big toilet with a shower and warm water. I even had a chance to meet the boss and spend some time with him, such a good hearth, great person!! My best stay experience in India by far!
Close to entrance of Ranthambore park. Rooms were okay. Breakfast was good with some cookies and tea prepared in case of an early tiger safari. Hotel helps you well with booking Safari tickets.
Location of the property - near to the gate 1-5 is the best along with the Hosts - dipak are great. Deepak & his family made my stay and visit to Ranthambore a memorable one
