However, you have to drive on a gravel road for 30 mins. But it is worth to do that.

This is a well equipped and relatively spacious cottage. The facilities are good and it's very clean.
It's also very secluded, which also means a better chance of seeing the northern lights (we didn't, they're were clouds)

Beautiful farm in a remote part of Iceland. We stayed at the hostel and went on a 2 hour horse ride. You can see seals from the beach. Our guide was super patient with me, a beginner rider, and it was one of the best tours we did in Iceland. The host was very welcoming when we arrived, as was her adorable dog Aska. We had the top part of the house to ourselves. Very lovely place.

It was all fairly clean. There are four rooms and one kitchen and two bathrooms so you have to take that into consideration. we waited a bit to use the kitchen. Its a hostel really. And we knew that going in. We used the washer and dryer, which came in very handy.
