Bordighera is nice but very difficult to find parking.
Bordighera is nice but very difficult to find parking. We were 15 minute walk from our hotel. Good public transport for surrounding areas. The hotel had private beach but difficult to go in the sea If you are not a good swimmer because of all the stones. The old town is quite nice but we found the restaurant miriage bit over rated. GRande Hotel de Mare , restaurant was good. The Amarea restaurant was ok

Bordighera is a beautiful town, both the old part and the new. It has an interesting history and it’s worth going to the Clarence Bicknell museum.
Try a farinata at one of the restaurants or take aways - a tasty vegan savoury dish which is found in Liguria, Nice and Sardinia.

A delightful boardwalk.
A delightful boardwalk. Reminds me of a smaller version of "Venice Beach" CA. Plenty of sights, sounds. Plenty of beach areas, and cafe's. Really a great place to stroll and breathe it all in. Was the best part of my trip to Italy.

Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter.
Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter. The beaches are pebble and shingle but varied and plentiful. I would recommend La Reserve where you can swim of the rocks and eat sea food in the restaurant. Access to the hilltop villages is easy and well worth a detour or two. The Conad superstore is fabulous with a huge selection of fresh produce, meat and Italian delicacies. A good place to stay en route to Italy or France.

Many visitors to this part of the world head off to the French cote d'Azur but this part of the Italian Riviera is also worth a visit. Bordighera is a beautiful town with lovely beaches a well preserved old town and gardens overlooking the sea. It also has superb restaurants cafes and shops. Also worth a visit is the next town along the coast, Ospedaletti which is as nice and has a great seafront and old town.

Bordighera is a small provincial Italian town with its local sharm with a very good location for one-day trips, as we like: so we visited Menton, Nice and San Remo. But the best of all is fantastic sea: warm and clear, so that we could swim as long, as we like and get a lot of pleasure. Very interesting is an ancient part of the town with narrow streets typical for old Italy and plenty of taverns and restaurants where you can taste local food and vine.
Great location on the seafront.
The cheaper rooms are on the back so it's probably worth an upgrade for a view of the sea, but as there were roadworks outside it may have been noisy, so I was glad to be on the back.
Front reception staff, Danila particularly, very helpful.
Good value for money.
Paid parking is directly outside the hotel but to the side were free parking spaces so it's a good idea to check these first. Also they may not be free in the summer!
Good coffee at breakfast.
Everything. The stay was exceptional and we were sad we had to leave. From the cozy hotel to the nice view and ultimately what made our stay even more pleasurable was definitely the courtesy and the kindness of Cesare and Laura the two owners of the hotel. It has a wonderful sea and hills view, 1 minute walking to a private small beach and a great restaurant/cafè nearby. Everything we needed was there and we will absolutely go back.
Close to the coast, easy access to “centro storico” and the rest of the town of Bordighera, which is very nice, many good restaurants and places for leisure & pleasure. The apartment has a nice terrace and a convenient parking. Breakfast was fine done with lots of attention. Thank you!
Lovely host, everything perfectly organized with remote access and own parking spot. The traintracks nearby did not bother at all, windows are soundproof, room is clean and spacious, even a minibar was filled with free drinks. Everything is within walking distance. Lovely town :-)
Villa Monet is a beautiful villa with a lovely pool and gardens and fantastic views of the town of Bordighera and the coast.
The owner, Guigliemo, is fantastic. So helpful. He provided restaurant recommendations and even gave us lifts back from town when we could not get a taxi.
… but the Lido is always a good address.
Rooms are a little dated , breakfast is nice . Staff is super friendly and very helpful .
If I am in Bordighera for a night or two, I really like to stay there.
Location is amazing as you are directly at the beach .
The owner Linda is a wonderful lady, very helpful and makes you feel at home. She is very accomodating. The location is amazing. The rooms are big, the hotel a beautiful backyard to enjoy breakfast or a drink al fresco. would definitely recommend Lucciola.
Great location, spacious room, clean and well equipped. Amazing view on the terrace.
Also we would like to thank the staff for rapid communication on Booking, warm welcoming and his restaurant recommendations. We really enjoy the stay.
The property was exactly what I was looking for and I loved the layout of the space. Clean, comfortable, close to shops, restaurants, grocery store, train station and a minutes from Sanremo. I hope to stay here the next time I visit!
Staff was courteous and friendly. Room was a perfect fit. Had everything that was necessary for our needs. Balcony was very pleasant. Market, restaurant, beach all within 3 minute walk.
Location in Bordighera Alta great. Beautiful view from balcony. Many restaurants nearby, but room very quiet. Owners kind enough to allow us very early check in after overnight flight.
Great place on the hill with amazing view. Nice and gentle owners and good breakfast. Cozy and clean room. Thank you and next time I stay in Bordighera I will choose this place again.
