Chiara was super helpful, she is amazing and super kind and was always making sure we were comfortable and ready to help. Mariana also made our stay amazing, she welcomed us and explained everything thoroughly. Breakfast was generous in quantity and quality. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, clean, and with an amazing view. The town gets extremely silent at night which is always nice.

Brunate is a great way to stay above Como and more suitable for families or couples that seek peace and tranquility. There is a cafe surving drinks and snacks with a FAB view point Walk to the lighthouse FAB views of Lake Como! Funicolcare is great fun I went on the ferry to Villa Carlotta I left Brunate at 8.30am and took the Ferry at 10am. It is 2 hours to Villa Caroltta on the lake but it is FAB with beautiful views. There are various stops along the lake, Double check your return journey as I missed the boat back, There is a bus it takes about 45 minutes and get a ticket from the newsagent down the road for 5 euros, There is a stop by the ferry stop and one outside the newsagent. With your back to the ferry stop you will see the Como bus Fermata across the road. And turn left from the ferry stop for the newsagent there are shops/cafe here too. There are FAB resturants in Como. My husband enjoyed the one on the sea front near the ferry stop it served delicious sea food!AdrianUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

A small town overlooking Como's surroundings. A place to stay to enjoy the coolness of altitude during summer ! The quietness and seclusion, while never being far away from means of transportation (FUNICOLARE) and shops.

Brunate is definitely a beautiful place, riding a train from como to the top of the mountains was already a wonderful experience. The stunning panoramic view from the top where you can see the whole province of como.

Nothing of interest here really. Maybe the Volta lighthouse ? (Closed by the time we arrived, so couldn't really tell). Nice view over the lake (Villa d'Este a.o.) from up there. If you do want to come to Brunate, I strongly suggest you take the Funicular from Como for a short round trip. Coming here with a larger car is a bit of a nightmare, and spending the night here was a mistake, wish we'd stayed in Como.

We sat on the balcony every evening looking the city lights. The hotel is very close to the funicular so Como city is very easy to access. I loved that the hotel was away from the busy city. It’s a bit hard to find, and I got lost on my way up and ended up back in town, but the owner, Roberto drove into Como, found me and escorted me back to the hotel. Food was amazing as well.
