The gentleman at the reception was absolutely the most friendly and accommodating person we encountered in our entire trip. The room was spacious and comfortable. The facilities were impeccable.

We were here between seasons so had few choices for lodging, but we were so lucky to find this place! The staff were very attentive, pleasant, and fluent in several languages. The most amazing part was the food- beautiful and elegant dinner options and an extensive Grappa/liquer bar. The breakfast leaned towards sweets/grains, but freshly cooked eggs were available as well. The coffee was proper espresso too! The location is excellent, near the lift for Col Rodella and a nice pathways walk to Canazei if desired. The room is small but very functional, and the balcony offered a lovely place to sit after dinner and enjoy the sunset.

Accommodation was fine, but immediately after arrival we paid another 30 euros per person/ week. What it was for extra money nobody was able to answer. The next was a tourist tax, but that is usual. There is a ski bus fee (Skipass is not a ticket !), but the host is not a member of the tourist agency, so you have to pay the full tax. Finally, the owner gave us a discount. But I jave to say the host's willingness to solve problems was excellent.
