Unfortunately due to some unexplained circumstances we did not get a room in the old historical building but in a modern and plain and undistinguished block. Moreover, we were not able to have dinner on any of the three nights we stayed, which again which was unexpected and unexplained. These two facts considerably reduced our anticipated enjoyment of this highly rated Agriturismo. However, the pool was lovely and breakfast was excellent and the very friendly women who were providing this made a special point of adding bacon and eggs for us each morning for their English guests!

This is a two-star hotel, so you won't find an in-room safe or bathrobes and slippers or a coffee-maker. That said, it's very clean and extremely well-located in down-town Pozzallo, close to restaurants, shops and the beach. It offers a good basic breakfast, excellent A/C and good internet. Above all, though, we can't speak too highly of the owner, Enrico and his lovely wife Ginetta. They ordered a taxi to wait for us at the ferry-port, a driver to get us to the wonderful town of Noto, advice on where to eat and a taxi back to the ferry at the end of our stay. They were there for us when we checked in outside their normal hours. They were extremely friendly and congenial people, never too busy to help or just chat.
This beautifully restored residence lies in Sicilian countryside, 15 minutes' drive out of Modica and the same distance from Blue-Flag beaches. Enjoy Cambiocavallo's outdoor pool and shady gardens.

Superb hotel - well located, in a relaxed country side but still close to cool towns like Modica and Scicli. Nice and clean rooms, great facilities, amazing pool and very nice food. The location is ideal for travelling around South East sicily and you can take day trips to beautiful beaches such as San Lorenzo and places like Marzamemi. We loved our stay here in this tranquil beautiful place.
