The views from the property are stunning and we loved the fresh croissants delivered by Luigi every morning. The kitchen is well equipped and has a great espresso machine. The bathroom is great and hot water was good. The pool was nice after a long hot day sightseeing.

It’s an Walking distance to train station and a few restaurants. Longer walk to old city but very doable, if you’re good with walking. The restaurants in the castle/old city were really nice with fantastic views. We loved the sunset from the castle. The hotel Staff is great, they are cheerful and helpful. Rooms are pretty nice, breakfast is continental but the make nice coffee. We rented e-bikes and biked the entire lake which was a highlight.

We were delighted to find that our hotel was actually inside the castle walls. We were steps away from cafes, restaurants and great little shops. The views from around the castle walls were fantastic.
We were greeted by warmly by Simone who told us where to park and a little about the area and the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel was warm and charming.
Highly recommend.
