Clean room and bathroom, quiet area; pool could be nice in the summer (I was there in March)
How many people can say they’ve stayed in a 15th-century convent? You can if you book Relais Chiostro di Pienza, a charming hotel set right in the heart of Pienza.

The place is gorgeous, we stayed in one of the apartments spread around the property. It feels like a little village, wound together by fairy lights in the evening. All the buildings are charming, with very well kept grounds, gardens and potted plants around, great for us and our dogs to spread our legs. The apartments themselves are simple and the decoration old school, but it makes sense with the setting. Big swimming pool a big plus.
The setting is also beautiful, with walks and bike rides through the Tuscan countryside at your doorstep and easy access to cute towns. Another plus is the restaurant and its beautiful, romantic courtyard.
Staff were also lovely, patient and accommodating with our big group of 9 adults, four children and two dogs. :)
A former theatre, Hotel San Gregorio is 50 metres from Pienza’s historical centre and near the Val d'Orcia Natural Park. The property offers free WiFi, covered parking and spacious accommodation.

A tiny charming old town with one church, one restaurant and one store. There's even an ATM.
A perfect location to explore central Tuscany with endless undulating fields, cypress trees and dirt roads winding among the hills.

This is a small town so a car is necessary to enjoy the area. There is only one restaurant in town but it is very gook. The town is close to other Tuscan towns such as Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino so there are lots of options to dine out. You can explore the town itself walking. Just an enjoyable, quiet place to relax.
Casa Marelli is located in a small village Castelmuzio. Upon entering the village I was amazed by how beautiful it is. We felt so lucky to be able to stay in this charming village, living the life of a local, going to the same restaurant in town(and a very good one) and enjoying the viewpoint that’s right next to the casa. The view from the window of the property is great too. The apartment is beautifully decorated, clean and equipped with all the essentials. Highly recommend!
what was there not to like an absolutely stunning hotel in the middle of stunning Tuscany . The rooms were spacious and decorated to a high but quirky standard the staff were absolutely brilliant and spoke good English. The on site Restaurant served the most amazing local food and the breakfast was typically Italian with pastries and coffee . would definitely recommend a stop off here just to experience this small authentic village 👍
The apartment has a wonderful view. Inside, we found everything you could need for a comfortable rest. Castelmuzio is a town of great beauty. The owner of the apartment is very caring, always willing to help in any way he can. A private pool creates a sense of privacy. If there is a paradise on earth, it is in Tuscany.
If you are in the area don’t hesitate to stay in this beautiful hotel. Not only the location is astonishing but the hotel is so charming and the people that work there will make you feel at home. Very special place!
Freshly baked croissants in the mornings are so delicious too!
Very cute, beautiful house in the centre of peaceful Castelmuzio. The owner and her mum were so easy to contact, extremely friendly and made our stay wonderful. Italian snacks, milk, coffee and wine were left out for us on arrival which made us really really welcomed.
The apartment is spot on. It is located in the very centre of the small city called Castelmuzio which is a good point to start your trips in Toscany. Apartment is well-equipped and Roberta takes a good care of you. The breakfasts at the bar nearby were splendid.
If you want a luxury, modern hotel this isn’t the place for you… if you want a picture perfect, sleepy, little Tuscan village hotel with a genuinely great restaurant serving amazing Tuscan food… then this is absolutely the place for you!
The house was remarkable and we felt right at home. It is just at centre of the lovely Castelmuzio village. Great communication with the host. There was a lovely aperitivo waiting for us when we arrived.
Beautiful hotel and the team was so welcoming and helpful. They gave great recommendations for food, wine, and excursions and helped set up a truffle hunting experience in very short notice.
