Absolutely fantastic apartment. Great stop in the trip to do laundry. Only stayed one night, in hindsight would have stayed two.

Castrovillari is central to exploring the Parco Nationale di Pollino, and is also close enough to make side trips down into the "toe of the boot" and see places like Tropea, Reggio Calabria, Cosenza, and Crotone.
We had a great time in Casamonaco
The room is huge and has an additional side room with table and sofa. It is quiet and comfortable, has shutters to keep the heat out and a quiet A/C.
Stefania our host was incredibly welcoming. She has a great knowledge of the surrounding area and was very helpful in giving us ideas of what to do.
She will also give you the best traditional breakfast in Castrovillari
Plenty of parking space and hammocks in the garden
It was a very comfortable stay at this hotel. Special thanks to Louis, he fed me, gave me coffee, and a very interesting conversationalist. There is everything you need for a traveler: washing machine, hair dryer, clean shower. Luis picked up by car, as I couldn't find the hotel, although no one had done this before, this speaks of good hospitality. Hello Louis from Kazakhstan.
Everything was perfect. The apartment is modern, with a funky feel. It is spacious, spotless with everything of top quality! Stefania is the perfect host. She is warm, friendly, and kind. She went above and beyond in assisting us with any request we had. We highly recommend Civico 4 for your stay in Castrovillari.
This is an excellent property in a great location. Right in the middle of Pollino National Park, and within easy driving distance of all of the cities in the toe of the boot. I spent 3 weeks exploring the Park and taking side trips to all the great locations in southern Italy.
Quiet home in town with secure parking. Excellent Breakfast and WiFi. Very pleasant and knowledgeable host. Our second stay and we would stay again if back in Castrovillari. Common kitchen for guests worked very well.
Very clean, everything looked quite new, comparable to a 4* hotel. A lot of facilities available, both in the room and in the common space. Very nice staff, courteous and helpful.
The wonderful owner is so proud of this part of italy, Calabria, so often overlooked by tourists heading south to Sicily, and he is an awesome guide to its many charms.
Very clean modern rooms and spacious bathrooms. Very pretty grounds/setting and pool as well as secure, on-site parking. Dog-friendly hotel. Great value for money!
