The La Posta Vecchia Hotel was a pleasant surprise, a hidden gem close to Fiumicino Airport. We spent three nights before departing Italy, following a trip to Positano and Rome. The hotel manager was kind enough to upgrade us to the beautiful Tower Suite with views over the ocean. The Cocktail Bar was a quiet oasis to relax and read, and the food and service in the restaurant were excellent. We enjoyed touring the grounds and walking the promenade of the nearby beach. It is a spectacular hotel, and we will definitely be back.
Located next to the beach, the 3-star Hotel Miramare is in central Ladispoli. It offers a sea-view restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, and classic-style rooms with LCD TV.
Located in Cerveteri and within 24 miles of Battistini Metro Station, Antica Locanda Cavallino Bianco has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.

This night was very functional for our travels in the off season. We made dinner in the kitchen and slept comfortably. We looked around the grounds and left early for our next stop on our adventure in Italy.

Small historic town with gorgeous views of the country. There are 2 restaurants, a bar, a pizza place and small sufficient market to have some variety for a brief stay. If you have a car, which is highly recommended, you are close to several local sightseeing options.
