Best location in the historic center “Old Town” between 2 canals, 15 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes walk to the beach!
The owner and staff speak English and make great recommendations on food and activities. They helped carry my luggage up to the 4th floor for an amazing view of the commercial ships on the canal and Sottomarina area.
The room is very basic and a hard bed, but this is common in Italy. Great air conditioning, even with the humidity. I got my exercise up and down the steep stairs!

The building ,even though modernized, still retained some of the character of the building it once was. It had granite/ marble floors in the lobby and a wooden intricate ceiling!

Ca' Zuliani Rooms offers accommodations in Chioggia, a 17-minute walk from Sottomarina Beach and 29 miles from Palazzo della Ragione. Featuring city views, this guest house also comes with free Wifi.
The right size for a week. The Thursday market is a must go.
The right size for a week. The Thursday market is a must go. Easy to get food. Nice beaches, although the see was a bit rough and not that clean for the second part of our trip.
There is a lot of small concerts and activities. Parking can get expensive, but you can leave your car towards edge of town for few euros. You don't need car around the town.

Chioggia is a place you discover and then come back again.
Chioggia is a place you discover and then come back again. Its generally only substitute of Venice globally but even better as 90% of people are local and prices are far less. One can take a boat ride to Venice if needed but there is a lot to explore in Chioggia and Sottomarina. Restaurants are a lot better then in Venice and at the canal. For info you can have 1 capucho and 1 expresso for 2.80e in Chioggia standard coffee place on main street.

We found Chioggia to be a clean and vibrant town, unfortunately we had to leave just before one of the local festivals was to take place, its not too crowded and very picturesque. Ideally situated if you wanted to visit Venice as its only a 1.5hr boat ride away.
Lots of restaurants a high percentage specialising, not surprisingly, in local caught fish.
Easily explored on foot or on a hire bike, the beach in Sottomarina is huge.

Chioggia is a beautiful historic (UNESCO) city - with all the charm and character of Venice but on a small scale and without the large crowds. A day out to Venice is easily done with a boat trip from Chioggia and the boat trip around Venice lagoon is definitely well worth the 10 euros.
Chioggia is ideal for holiday makers who want to avoid tourism hotspots and enjoy a romantic holiday with a warm/friendly atmosphere, well priced tasty food and genuine Italian hospitality.
Plenty to do and see and perfect for relaxing with an Aperol Spritz by the canals as folk promenade in the warm evening, tempered by a light sea breeze.

Chioggia is a beautiful coastal town located in the Venetian...
Chioggia is a beautiful coastal town located in the Venetian lagoon in Northern Italy. It is often referred to as "Little Venice" because of its canals and bridges, and it is known for its vibrant fishing industry, historic buildings, and delicious seafood cuisine.
One of the most striking features of Chioggia is its colorful and charming architecture. The town's narrow streets are lined with buildings painted in shades of pink, yellow, and blue, and many of the houses have ornate balconies and intricate facades. Visitors can stroll along the canal promenade, taking in the stunning views of the water and the historic buildings.
Another must-see attraction in Chioggia is its fish market, which is one of the largest and busiest in Italy. Visitors can watch fishermen unloading their catch of the day, and then browse the stalls selling an incredible variety of fresh seafood, including prawns, squid, clams, and mussels.
Foodies will also love Chioggia's restaurants, which offer delicious seafood dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Some popular local specialties include sarde in saor (sweet and sour sardines), risotto di gò (risotto with goby fish), and granseola (spider crab).
Overall, Chioggia is a wonderful destination for travelers who are looking for a unique and authentic Italian experience. Its stunning architecture, bustling fish market, and delicious seafood cuisine make it a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the Venetian lagoon

Chioggia is a perfect little getaway from the crowds in Venice. It has a similar feel to Venice with the canals and buildings, but it's not nearly as crowded and loud. The food is good, and the beach is very easy to access!
Staff was really nice and helpful - they directed us through check-in remotely so we could arrive whenever we wanted; the room was really big and comfy with a nice bed and lots of pillows, large bathroom too. The location is convenient - right by the beach entrance but also 10 min walk from Chioggia's historic center. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around the property. Make your own breakfast with both sweet and salty options. Hotel feels new, with a nice decor and equipment (f.e. the aircon worked really well)
Everything about Casa Mara was like the perfect italian summer dream: clean rooms, cozy beds, air conditioning for the hot days, mini fridge in the room for our drinks, a small balcony to lounge at night, great coffee in the morning, perfect location (near the city centre, the beach and the old Town of Chioggia) and a very welcoming and friendly host.
We really enjoyed our summer vacation at Casa Mara and we will definitely come back.
Graziella is a wonderful host that makes you feel at home immediately. The location is perfect in Chioggia, close to everything including the boat from Venice. Our dogs (well behaved, but three of them) were welcomed by her too. The rooms are decorated in a very thoughtful manner with unique touches everywhere. When we come back to Chioggia, we will definitely stay there. We travel twice a month, so we know lodging!!!
The apartment is very well located in Chioggia, close to lots of shops and bars/restaurants. The apartment was as pictured and it was nice and quiet. The air conditioning was very nice to have on the very hot days we were there. Our host provided coupons for the beach, which was really nice, as that was our main reason for visiting Chioggia - to get out of the crowds in Venice and go to the beach for the day.
This is a perfect place for 1/2 people. Clean, comfortable. Great location and a wonderful host. Matteo went out of his way to make sure we arrived safely, gave great instructions and was always reachable . The apartment is newly renovated and has everything a traveler needs. Host even operates a gondola service for interested guests. Why go to Venice when Chioggio has it all and is so much more authentic.
The hotel Duomo is a lovely small hotel. It is located in the center of Chioggia opposite the Duomo. It deserves far more than the one star rating. The rooms are stylish, the bathroom modern and comfortable. Breakfast is served at the bar below the hotel. Try the spremuta and the fluffy brioche. A big compliment also goes to the staff, who were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.
Casa Camilla was absolutely beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and fresh inside and out. Walking distance to everything. Including Chioggia and the Sottomarina Beach where you can walk for miles! Such a quaint little fishing town. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. I can't say enough good about this little treasure and would recommend it to anyone!
Apart from not having internet (which I had overlooked while booking) the apartment was great. The rooms were quite spacious and all appliances (washing machine, coffee machine etc) worked perfectly. The location is perfect to venture into town and the beach is within walking distance. Grocers, supermarkets and bars are just around the corner as well!
Great location (between harbour and beach, old town is 10 minutes by walk), friendly and helpfull staff, hotel has a great fish restaurant with fresh homemade food (best food we had in Chioggia), everyday cleaning service in the room, I recommend this hotel especially when you prefer nice small authentic hotels and not overcrowded places
The bungalow was very neat, with barbecue in front and table on the porch. There is a small playground just a few meters away from the bungalow. The location is very good, we visited Chioggia (little Venice) and we had a great sunset in romantic place by the sea. The beach is just a short walk away about 200m.
Newly renovated boutique hotel - quaint and cute. Rooms were decent size with a big bathroom and new fixtures. Breakfast was good but has limited selection. It was located along the lagoon with a bicycle and walking path that leads to the old town of Chioggia. Georgia and Stefan’s were excellent hosts.
What a wonderful bed! The mattress was really outstanding! The location is great, we needed covered parking, and found one nearby. Very well located. It is a simple, clean hotel, exactly as in the photos, perfectly met our expectations for a charming quick stop by in Chioggia.
Great Location - completely fresh renovated - felt as if we were the first ones to be there
Super clean
Host was super friendly
Beach, Shopping and Old Town - it all in a walking distance
There is an actual elevator right into the Appartement #awesome
A lovely beautiful and gorgeous appartement in the center of Chioggia. The right place to explore this wonderful city and also the beaches of Sottomarina. Super friendly and always helpful hosts - thank you :) looking forward to our next visit :)
No breakfast included, but host was kind to arrange a moka machine for our coffee. Location good for family, kindness of hosts also after a misunderstanding in booking process they found however a good solution for us.
Beautiful hotel in the best location of Chioggia. Very tidy and everything was perfect. Great breakfast - even a fresh glutenfree cake was available. Personell was helpful and always available. A perfect stay.
Amazing stay, wonderful hotel - and was great to be able to leave my bags with them the day I checked out. Super helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Want to go back asap!
Very good breakfast, super friendly and helpful owners. Only about 2 minutes away from the beach, but also close (10 minutes) to Chioggia (city). Daily ferry to Venice.
Very friendly owner, bus stop nearby, supermarket 200 m, beach 15 minutes walk.
Good small town for relaxation and as a base for trips to Venice and Padua.
