La Rupe bed-and-breakfast is a very nice little hotel in the heart of the old town of Norma. The building is very old, but is renovated to modern standards. It also has a lot of historic charm. La Rupe is located on a narrow medieval street so I had to park my car about .4 miles away and walk uphill a little bit. The building also has steep stairs. Keep this in mind if you have trouble with these features. There is breakfast on the top floor overlooking the valley below. it's a beautiful view. The breakfast was very good and had a variety of foods to fit your desire. The cappuccino was excellent. My room was very large and the bed was comfortable. The shower water pressure and temperature was exceptionally great. La Rupe is situated in a very old and beautiful neighborhood. If you want a view of the valley from your room, then ask for the room that is named La Vedetta. I had a room facing the narrow street, and it was also very nice.

Gabriele and Alicandra were the perfect hosts....they made sure we were comfortable and then left us to enjoy the fabulous views from the patio. We chose the L'oasi di Alice because of its proximity to the Giardino di Ninfa and it turned out a wonderful choice. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and very, very clean!
You need a car to get to this hill-town if you stay in...
You need a car to get to this hill-town if you stay in accommodation outside, as the hill is too steep to walk comfortably. Once there it is a quaint town which appears very busy, even out of season. As I visited at the end of September most of the proper restaurants had already closed for the season, but there are others at the bottom of the hill. It is not really a destination in itself, more a place to visit.
Fantastic imposing location overlooking the entire local countryside. The area is steeped in local history and customs dating back to pre Roman times. At first glace, the nearby town of Cori seems non descript but some exploration by foot reveals an amazing ancient town of Roman buildings and medieval townhouses. An historic gem not far from Rome.
Travel to Rome by train from the nearby town of Cisterna di Latina was fast, convenient and good value.
Brand new hotel, in a very old building (grain mill).
The room was spacious, modern and clean.
Very friendly staff. They helped us with everything, even arranged a covid test for me for our way back.
It was very quiet, but that was probably due to covid and it being a very new hotel. We had the swimming pool multiple times to ourselves.
For our relaxing vacation, this was perfect.
Cori is a medieval fantasy in stone, and this property is part of that, located near one of the historic gates of the city. I have already vowed to return for some of the summer pageantry missed. I would like nothing better than to stay again at the charming La Terrazza. There was nothing medieval about the modcons and double bed. I found the locals friendly and helpful.
Beautiful place, nice views of Cori village, free parking and a beautiful clean property. We played cards in the wine tasting area and tasted wines which were an amazing price. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We stayed over for one night. The rooms are simple and clean but the real power is the restaurant, food and wines.
A self-contained apartment with all you need, although the bathroom is a little on the small side.
A quiet location in a cosy and vivid hill town.
A very cordial and helpful (English-speaking) host who knows a lot about Cori and the surrounding areas.
Lovely apartment, felt very central but an easy walk down once we found the right paths!
Had everything we needed - we were staying in Cori for a friends wedding and very much enjoyed coming back to this little escape
The hotel was modern and clean, with a beautiful view of the city. The staff was very friendly and if it wasn't for the wedding mentioned below the stay would have been perfect.
Breakfast was adequate, location was handy for us, dinner was great but because the hotel was very empty (one other couple) I think the service was a little short...
