A very pleasant hotel, view of the lake from the balcony is amazing. Also, an excellent terrace for breakfast with the most beautiful view in Tremezzo. The rooms are small and poorly equipped, but everything is very clean. The staff is friendly. Recommendation: take a room with a lake view on the 4th or 5th floor and ask for a room as far away from the elevator as possible.

The property was beautiful, incredible views and location. It was a 25-30 minute stroll into Bellagio via beautiful paths (not always on the main road so super safe). Or you can park your car in the white zone for free just outside the gardens by the lake which is a 5min easy drive away! The staff couldn’t have been more lovely and accommodating, offering lifts into town and providing an iron etc and coffees. The lovely lady also gave me annotated maps and talked me through places to visit and how to get into town! Thank you so much for my wonderful stay!

Located in Varenna and only 3 minutes on foot from Lake Como, Hotel Montecodeno is very close to a ferry boat stop. It offers free WiFi and rooms with views of the garden and mountains.

However the room didn’t meet up to expectations and can be better. The flooring is quite poor , the bed was nothing to write home about.

I can’t recommend more the place we visited and the house we stayed in.
Esino Lario is about 5 miles from the lake and Varenna. It is a beautiful place up in the mountains with stunning nature, fresh air and friendly local people. You will find there everything you need including local shop and a nice bar restaurant.
The house we stayed is lovely and equipped with all necessary facilities. Any thing you need or have a question you will get an instant response from the host, nothing is a chore. I would highly recommend this place.
