Barbara hosted us for breakfast. The food, view and service were outstanding. We found it hard to leave Cà Piodèe on our checkout day. Would have liked to stay longer, but our schedule was fixed. We will be back! Thank you all very much for your kind hospitality.

We enjoyed the stay very much and would definately recommend the stay to other people. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was lovely with a kitchenette and lots of storage space, we had a balcony to sit and have a quiet drink while taking in the beauty of Lake Como. We ate in several places and had a great speedboat trip to view some of the other villages on the lake, Walking was good, the hills were quite steep, so you do what you can and go back. The higher you go the more you see. Don't miss it.

We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad luck we ended up moving with public transportation with which Faggeto Lario is not impossible, but a bit difficult to reach. There are not too many restaurants (we counted three) and no grocery store. Views are very beautiful though and the ferry ride from Como was also very beautiful. It's a beautiful spot, placed on several different levels on the hill. On Thursday morning there is a market in Molina (do go there if you want fresh fruit, cheese, meet or other goods); It's small, but really worth seeing! It is a good concept of a hotel service, but with spacious and nicely designed apartments, perfect when you travel with family or friends and want to stay together. Everyone from the hotel staff was professional and friendly and always genuinely smiling to us. We also appreciated the facilities - the small beach was cute and useful, also the pool was very nice. We very much enjoyed renting the boat from the water centre at the hotel. All very handy for guests. I will come back in the future.

Free parking place nearby and a restaurant with tasty national food. Alessandra is a perfect host - she was kind and gave really nice recommendations on the places to visit near the Como lake. If you desire something memorable on a vacation then Faggeto Lario is the place to go!)

But a note for everyone traveling in a period of rain/thunderstorms. The location of the hotel is very remote, and there is only 3 roads leading to the hotel.
