the owners of the property were SO nice. We didn’t know that there were no taxis in town and we did not rent a car; we wanted to go to Cantine Polvanera. They drove us there and picked us up on their own time and it meant so much.

We were promptly met by our host and shown around this very spacious apartment. The fridge was well stocked, yogurt, meat and cheese and fresh fruit. There were also 2 nice pieces of cake waiting for us along with biscotti's. We were also able to store our bicycles in a nice clean garage!

For us the location was very good - close enough to Bari (ferry) and to the places we wanted to visit from there (Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Matera, Polignano a Mare...), with free parking on-site. The apartment is clean and spacious, the garden is beautiful.

This B&B is in a beautiful countryside setting just outside of the city. Domenico works extremely hard to make sure that every guest has an enjoyable experience and mine was no less than perfect. I had a room in the shared space and found the accommodations to be lovely and comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent and if you have the opportunity I would suggest sitting outside to enjoy the sunrise while eating.
It is outside of town and taxi services is limited so it's best to prearrange your arrival with Domenico or to have a rental car. The weather was beautiful and I was able to enjoy a nice walk into town in the morning and back in the evening. It's about 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on your walking pace.

The Etruscan site at Mount Sannace is a wonderful place to visit, very well signposted in English and absolutely fascinating. A companion visit to the Castello and the Archaeological museum in Gioia itself is extremely worthwhile. The exhibits are fabulous.
It's an original and unpretentious little town not overrun by tourists, but quite charming.

Not the biggest of places you could probably ‘do it’ in a day. Clean and when we asked for directions, friendly locals.
Winery tour and tasting, we’ve booked but yet to experience. Stayed in building which was beautiful.

It’s where the Primitivo grape was first planted and has a charming town centre. The outskirts are a bit industrial but it’s a genuine, working place. The countryside around is vineyards and olive groves. There are a few excellent little restaurants in the town. Finding breakfast to speak of is almost impossible.

It is worth passing through and seeing the castle.
It is worth passing through and seeing the castle.
We didn't go inside as we were castled/churched out at that point.
We did a late afternoon arrival and left early morning to catch the right buses.
A day is enough to see the place and relax.

Qaint mixture of old and new, as in so many Italian towns.
Qaint mixture of old and new, as in so many Italian towns. Great festa while we were in town, right in our piazza. Good centre to explore the many lovely aspects of Puglia. Some lovely restaurants. Best meal and nicest time was at Pizzeria La Vecchia. Order the antipasto and be pleasantly surprised. And the pizzas are lovely too, and generous. All for a every modest price.
You can easily walk around the old city.
And explore the many little back alleys to see charming houses, apartments, restaurants, and impressive churches of course.

I liked the location, close to a local supermarket and within 5-10 min walking of everything in Gioia del Colle. I also liked the interior, since it was the first time for me in a kind of refurbished cellar or similar. Is definitely different from other apartments I have been.
I liked the super well equipped kitchen with ALL you need for breakfast and cooking, including a nice coffee machine.
Bathroom was small but very well equipped.
Great location in the heart of Gioia del Colle. It is a walking distance to all the restaurants and the neighbourhood was nice. The room was big and it was clean. Lovely and helpful staff, especially the owner. She was helping us with giving advise on what to do in the area. It is a great base for travelling to Alberollo, Matera, Grotte Castallana, Polignamo a Mare, and more.
Very comfortable room with welcome cheese and wine on arrival. Free wine beer and water in bar fridge. The lovely hostess made us most welcome. Very quiet and peaceful area just what we wanted. Loved the farm animals and the 12 little piglets plus ponies friendly cow and quizzy donkey!!
The breakfast was a feast!! Great choice from savory to sweet and lots to eat!!!
Beautiful apartment, very generous and welcoming hosts!
We came to the Gioia del Colle to visit a few wineries and Giancarlo not just gave us a free bottle of wine on arrival, he kindly offered to drive us around the city! Had great private wine tour in the end :)
P.S. Chocolate cake for breakfast was so good that we took the rest to our next destination
The location is great to visit Publia region. The pictures of Booking are accurately and Domenico is a great host.
The breakfast is great, and definitely a very good place to stay, good value for money.
Unfortunately the weather was good, but not as hot as we expected to use the swimming pool. However, that area was great!
The apartment space, parking facilities and location worked well for us. We were visiting family in Gioia Del Colle and it was a quick drive into town and convenient major highways. The property was gated, which provided added security. A complex key and button for the gate was provided upon arrival.
The B&B is superb and cannot fault it in anyway. The price for one night is amazing and you might expect the accommodation to be of a high standard BUT this is not true. Excellent check in and superb rooms. There is free parking outside the hotel as well.
The hotel staff were very friendly and offered help and advice when required. All spoke very good English. The room was very clean and comfortable and was visited by the housekeepers every day. Secure parking is available at the hotel.
A great, centrally located place to stay in beautiful Gioia del Colle! Spacious, clean room and bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi connection too. The host Davide was super welcoming and helpful.
Beautiful room near the old town of the city. We liked very much the breakfast! It was nice that it had sour options comparing to other hotels that have only sweet. Many fruits also! 😍 Thank you!
Very good location for trips to Alberobello, Matera, Grotte di Castelana, Bari, Monopoli, Taranto... Amazing host, great wine tasting and helpful tips from the host.
