The hotel is absolutely wonderful, so is the staff. It is located right by the sea in an old monastery. The building itself is magnificent with beautiful art work all over. Giovinazzo is a quiet little place, 20 minutes north of Bari's city center. Easily reached by train or car. The breakfast is superb. Also, there are nice little restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. A real gem in Puglia!
Hotel Riva Del Sole offers free parking, guest rooms, and apartments. It is set in a quiet area by the Adriatic Sea, surrounded by a natural park near Giovinazzo, Trani and Castel del Monte.

Choices available breakfast was excellent, could not fault room or any of the staff. Wonderful pool and settings and to have the affiliated restaurant on the beachfront with such choice and quality of food was beyond our expectations.

Wonderful small town, ancient buildings, beautiful clear sea. On weekdays there are few tourists; on weekends more people come to the beach. A stunning place for photographers and artists, beautiful views of the sea, cliffs, sunset and 14th-19th century architecture.
There are many different restaurants with local cuisine, seafood, and bars with sea views.

The centro storico is a must see in this town, it's just gorgeous! Be sure to visit in the evening as well, as it's even more beautiful lit up at night. There aren't really any beaches within walking distance, at least not sandy ones, but the lungomare (seaside walkway) is fabulous and affords some great views in both directions. The Neapolitan style pizza at Pizzeria Pitta La Pizza Col Sorriso is not to be missed, and we very much enjoyed two dinners at La Creperia Cinereo Lembo Cafè in the centro storico, at surprisingly affordable prices. Just a word of caution, the pizza place opens at 8:00 pm, not 7:00, and the Creperia at 7:30. Both opening times shown on Google are incorrect. The entire town is very walkable, and I recommend B&B Sant'Agostino for its central location (5 minute walk to train station, easy stroll to the main park, piazza, seaside and centro storico).

The old part of Giovinazzo was fantastic, the criss-cross streets and alleys were easy to get lost in however this was a good thing as we found lots of places we would have missed, especially restaurants. We ate in a different place each day, and wasn't disappointed by any of them. The beaches were all rocks or pebbles, with oil on some pebbles, apparently from shipping? The oil got on our towels, it's not easy to spot as it's on individual pebbles. We had to drive 30 minutes to nearest sandy beach. Overall we had a great time, attributed to the hotel we stayed in. A converted convent. Superb 👌

Nice little town, everything reachable by foot also for the children. Exiting castle to explore including several galleries, bars and restaurants. Many swimming opportunities along the coast line. Most of them rocky with cliffs, not very suitable for small children but there was one sandy beach at the harbor in the heart of the village.

Giovinazzo is only a small town which on the day we arrived (Saturday) was quiet and easy to get around, plenty of cafes around the main square. Easy access to the sea front and a pleasant walk along the promenade.
Good restaurant by the hotel.
Our stay was too short as we had only booked one night as we were due to return home the following day

Really lovely converted convent in the old town just off the lungomare. Comfortable room, great breakfast, and enjoyed the restaurant as well. Definitely recommend. We were there just after Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Great location in the old historical town of Giovinazzo. The property is quite convenient, not lots of space but just what we needed and everything of high quality and contemporary design. The hosts were super friendly and accomodating and went the extra steps to make our stay as pleasurable as possible, and succeeded.
Breakfast was great, and the support with getting our car parked in a secured area overnight was great and a friendly price. Would highly recommend.
Really enjoyable stay. Booked spontant and got in to the room within 30 minutes. Really likeable couple and their son to translate. Made my stay feel like home in beautiful Giovinazzo. Parking directly in front of the door.
Would highly reccomend to others on their travel in lovely Puglia!
Thank you very much!
Everything!!! This small operation is VERY well run with an excellent breakfast in the mornings. We highly recommend this place if your in this part of Italy. Between the comfortable bed to the pool & jacuzzi to the owners (who are absolutely awesome), we only have great things to say about our stay there.
We had a wonderful stay here, the lady who checked us in was so friendly and kind! The location was perfect for getting to the airport the following morning and we had a great pizza at Lo Schiribizzo in Giovinazzo which they kindly recommended to us when we checked in. Would definitely recommend a stay!
My husband and I needed to stay near Bari airport for a night and this hotel is only about a 10 minute drive away. It has the bare bones of what you need in the room, though the room itself is a bit tired. The breakfast is also decent, but mostly because the coffees are made to order.
Very cleaned and comfortable room. We stayed only for one night but will definitely come back again for longer stays. The location is perfect, super central, in the old town of Giovinazzo and close to restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!
Mimma the hostess is amazing! Met with us with her family and provided us with an overview of Giovinazzo. Place is in a fantastic location and the beaches. Many restaurants within 2 minutes walk. Thank you Mimma and your family.
Nearby downtown and the seaside. It is a marvelous spot in Giovinazzo. It has been a great pleasure being hosted by Rosana. Free car parking just around the house located at walking distance from the beautiful central square.
Location was perfect for a flight out of Bari airport. Giovinazzo, a charming town, is 5 minutes away with lots of dining options and shopping. Staff was very hospitable and had breakfast to go for our very early flight out.
Excellent hotel and great folks at the reception! Highly recommended. Parking is not close and you will need to use public parking or private parking which is a bit far. But excellent experience overall.
Spacious, new apartament with everything you need. Very close to train station and to the centre of the beautiful Giovinazzo. Very very kind, hospitable and helpful owners. I really recomend this place.
Everything.. Location, beautiful historical building transformed into a hotel with attention to detail and matching decorations. Delicious breakfast and above smiling, helpful and kind staff. Thank you!
Lucia was very helpful with recommending places to visit. The room was cleaned regularly with new towels being brought in. If I ever visit Giovinazzo again I will definitely stay here again.
The whole hotel, included rooms look like from an other era, like late 70ties or early 80ies, probably no decoration or furniture was changed since than. Very overpriced for what you get.
Rina and Nico were very kind and welcoming. The house is in a very quiet area about 5 kms from the lovely little fishing town of Giovinazzo and was very comfortable.
