Stunning views. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had issues with our hire car and received loads of assistance. Especially from Christina who even drove us to the car and arranged taxis.

The location provides a great viewpoint over Lago Maggiore.
The location provides a great viewpoint over Lago Maggiore. The larger accommodation offered was spacious and quiet, with a separate sitting area and a patio. The breakfast was good as they offered scrambled eggs to go along their continental breakfast buffet and fresh fruit juices.
The on-site restaurant was excellent and the 10% discount for hotel guests was appreciated. This was a great location for a multi-day stay. We loved it. Locanda Pozzetto had great staff and a very special place - memorable!
Disliked · Parking was tight (large cars would have a tough time). My wife wished the room was better decorated... If they added a small fridge to the apartment (it has the hotel mini-bar fridge) the room would have been perfect.

Laveno is a quiet jewel on Lake Magiorre.
Laveno is a quiet jewel on Lake Magiorre. It boasts all the incredible views, charm and easy accessibility to the lake and surrounding area without the huge crowds and touristy traps. The ferry provides easy travel to Intra and onward to Stressa. We loved our boat trip to the picture perfect Borromean Islands. There is also a cable car at Laveno offering astonishing lake views from its peak.

The location and setting of this hotel was truly stunning.
The location and setting of this hotel was truly stunning. Great breakfast, nice pool but the steam room and sauna was not in operation while I was there.
Close enough to town for a stroll in and access to some great little restaurants. The staff were very helpful and left you alone if you wanted to be so it felt like being in your own bubble

Traveling off season always has good and bad.
Traveling off season always has good and bad. Good was few people and easy parking. Bad was a lot of things closed. Especially disappointing was that the ski lift was not working. Would be a great view of the lake and good hiking. Was fun to take the ferry across to Intra...cheap lake trip.

Beautiful town that has everything you need without a busy city. The cable car ride is amazing and the restaurant at the top of the mountain is great to take photos and have a drink. The restaurants in Laveno-Mombello are very good. We took the ferry to Intra which was lovely and a quicker alternative to get to France.

Fabulous apartment in the heart of Laveno-Mombello, a stone’s throw from the lake. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, with some lovely pieces of furniture and art added as a bonus. The apartment is spacious and has a balcony at the front with a pleasant view of the lake between the buildings. All very relaxing! Free parking is available in a secure courtyard, which was very handy. The apartment was lovely, as was Paolo’s welcome, which was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay.
We stayed for 2 nights in September with beautiful lake view, sunset view and the sounds of the lake and an active small town. An amazing little accommodation, where you can have your dinner at the restaurants balcony and then walk 2 stairs up to your own balcony. Clean room, a little fridge and all basics you need. The owner and the staff are fantastic. Don't miss the cable car to the mountain top when you stay in Laveno-Mombello.
A simply excellent hotel in a stunning location. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were relaxed and every need was catered for . We had treated ourselves to the Garden Suite for a special birthday and were totally blown away by the stunning views and understated stylish but luxurious design. We had gone half board for breakfast and dinner. They were both incredible, with fresh local produce
The views over Lago Maggiore and across the Alps to Monte Rosa are truly spectacular. Over dinner at the restaurant the sunset was amazing and an enjoyable breakfast on the terrace was peaceful and inspiring.
The trip up to hotel in the bucket lift is fun and once you have paid ten euros you can continue to use the lift while you are staying at the hotel.
A real gem.

Everything was amazing. The location is perfect: near ferry, and the funicular. Its great to spend more time and have time for the pool relaxing and also to visit funicular.
The breakfast was good.
Staff is really helpful and friendly.
There is elevator, car parking and everything needed to have great time in the hotel.
Clear and comfortable rooms.
Location could not have been better. We arrived off season and were given an upgraded room. Terrific view and very large with kitchenette, everything you could imagine. It even had a small, but nice terrace. Public parking was convenient, just in front of hotel. Bathroom had been remodeled and was very nice.
The lake-sidee rooms of Damal del Porto offer an unforgettable view on Lago Maggiore. They are newly revovated and conveniently equipped. Matteo, our host, runs hotel and restaurant together with his brother. The restaurant offers sophisticated cuisine of a high standard. We will definitely come back!
Hotel location & our lake view was absolutely beautiful. It was very relaxing after a long day of work to sit by the lake.
The staff were very friendly & hospitable. Food & wine was delicious. I really enjoyed my stay here. Would definitely recommend to friends & family.
Location was excellent, and balcony and view. We had two-floor room for family, and it was really practical and kitchen was ok, as was wifi, too. Nice restaurants close to hotel. Good value for money!
