Breakfast was excellent--including eggs to order. Lovely hotel that provided a calm, relaxing several day respite from the pace of our sightseeing and of traveling between multiple destinations. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk people provided lots of good information. Would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect at this hotel. The comfortable, large room, the very kind host, and the absolutely delicious restaurant. The hotel has a very picturesque location with amazing views (especially at sunset!). The host is friendly and accommodating - for example, he made sure to meet all our wishes for breakfast. Also, make time to eat at the hotel restaurant, because the talented Sardinian chef provides very delicious dishes from his region.
We will definitely stay here again upon our next visit of the impressive Apuan Alps!

Only a few rooms, but perfect. Adjacent to the cafe run by Michelangelo who manages the inn. Breakfast is whatever you choose from the varied treats in the cafe. Splendidly clean and comfortable rooms!
We visited the cave (16€), definately worth it. And there were other tours, but we didn't have enough time. Ristorante Albergo Villechiara- amazing. Several streets get lit up at night- really beautiful.
