Location was a short drive up the hill from Marciana Marina. I'm not sure how you would get there without driving, but if you are driving, this is highly recommended for a group stay. Very quiet and clean. Host was very welcoming.

Marciana is a small, fine town with an old, well-preserved building structure that lives from tourism but is careful not to overcrowd the town with tourists. This way it remains authentic. The people there are usually helpful and friendly. However, very few of them can speak English.

Really nice hosts who are very helpful with information about places to visit and where to eat. Nice restaurant within walking distance and another five minutes’ drive away. Rooms are slightly dated but have everything one needs and are very clean. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Good parking facilities and, contrary to some other reviews, the WIFI is efficient and available in the rooms, not just the common areas.

The terraces of the rooms have excellent views over the sea and the shores of Elba. The rooms are small and simple but fine for such an island vacation. It was convenient that the hotel has its own restaurant ( on a terrace with a view from Corsica to mainland Tuscany). Food is ok. Staff was helpful and kind.
