The house itself is an unexpected piece of genuine antiquity. Part of it are 800 years old. We loved the rural setting and the peace there, despite being so handy to the motorway.
The host was friendly and informative. The whole area was a large Roman centre and there are archeological excavations in progress.

The location was great up on the mountain with wonderful views and literally in the center of town. Plenty of parking.
