Facilities comparable to a 5 star hotel. Completely renewed room and bathroom, amenities are top quality: bed and linen, towels, welcome pack, etc. Incredible breakfast, charming host Elvira and her daughter (who speaks perfect English). Cozy town with good local food and shops, we were lucky and we saw the Wine fest. Outstanding views of Etna. Great location if you are visiting Etna, Taormina or Catania.

Nice and helpful personel and a lovely dog Bianca.
Nice and helpful personel and a lovely dog Bianca. View on Etna and the sea is stunning. They have the best white wine we ever tasted made from their own grapes. Dinner and breakfast are good, also their red wine collection is great. Beds were bit hard and pool was chilly, that was the only 'downside'.
If you want to explore the Etna, ask Antonio about the tour from Francesco, worth every penny.

Great location for visiting Etna National Park.
Great location for visiting Etna National Park. Short distance from cablecar that takes you up the mountain; we recommend paying for the van ride to go up farther than the cablecar because that portion includes a guide who shows you interesting things about the volcano, including fumaroles and the Valle del Bove lava valley. (We found this activity to be very interesting and enjoyable, although expensive. Do Not Leave Any Valuables in your car in the cablecar parking lot.) The town is very small - one grocery store and only 1 restaurant, but it's a good one: The 4 Arches (Quattro Achi) - very popular, reservations recommended, but only open for dinner Monday to Friday, lunch and dinner Sat and Sunday. The climate is a lot cooler in Milo than on the coast -- a welcome change. The roads are usually narrow and at times extremely steep. Underfoot is all crunchy volcanic rock and ash. We went on a hike to find an ancient oak tree -- the Ilice di Carrinu.

We had a perfect view of Etna from our room, the hotel was a quick walk to the Etna Adventure Park and easy access to other activities- perfect for our family stay. The restaurant down the road, 4 Arches (?) was amazing and really accommodating. The hotel owners were so helpful and friendly, we felt really well looked after and even when the hotel was crazy busy, they made time to stop and check we'd settled in ok. We could have stayed for much longer and I wish we had- there was much more to explore in the area than we had time to do.

The only problem in Sicily is rubbish- bags over the roads, dirt on public beaches, especially on Etna's side sea coast, Westen coast as we found is much cleaner.
We were really shocked, especially that they have separate garbage collection and lots of bags with rubbish on the roads.
Apart from that the island is paradise.
Our hosts were so incredibly friendly and flexible, willing to help us with whatever we needed. The room was lovely, including everything we needed and a really comfortable place to stay, even in really high temperatures. The location of the B&B is perfect - out of the busier areas of Sicily, and so a great place to relax and wind down, but close enough to be able to see lots of the island's highlights. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts worked hard to deal with dietary requirements and preferences.
Gorgeous place! It's very comfortable and even bigger than you could imagine from pictures. Not to mention that there is also ancient wine cellar attached to it. Views were breathtaking: Catania and surrounding coast below, Etna above us (it welcomed us with eruption). Hosts waited for us quite late in the night, informed us about the village (Milo) and its win tradition and were all in all vey friendly. There is also a big garden around the house and we were sorry that we spent only two nights there.
The staff were so friendly, helpful and relaxed. We planned to be earlier but got distracted enroute. This was not a problem as we kept intouch via text. The meal was wonderful and local wine just lovely. Kids were made so welcome! Our son is called Milo, so he was particularly excited!
The terrace on the roof for our drinks and dinner, with view of Etna was superb ... Our room also had Etna view. Good to chat with other guest as we all shared volcano interests!
Alfiuccia is very kind and caring, she and her family will make sure you have the most memorable stay in this cute little village in the Etna region. While we were there, the famous Milo Wine Festival was taking place in the town center and we bumped into Alfiuccia selling her homemade sweets, which we got to try upon our arrival earlier. Chicho the dog prefers to be on Alfiuccia’s vineyard but when he’s hone he will make sure the house is safely guarded;)
We had a fantastic stay! Giovanni and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us such delicious breakfasts. The building/site is so beautiful - stunning plants and trees, and incredible views of Mount Etna behind their small vineyard from our balcony, which was so stunning and magical to wake up to. Super quiet, and an ideal location for visiting Etna. The pool was the cherry on top! We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

everything was great!!!! especially the host who took a lot of time with us explaining how to get on Etna, the most convenient routes, cool spots ecc. He also gave us a room with Etna view even at no extra cost if we didn't book for that. Everything regarding the hotel was perfect from the room to the breakfast. Unfortunately we spent just a night there. I higly recommend.
Great location just outside Milo and very quiet. Good as base to explore other areas. Apartment was thoughtfully decorated throughout and very clean. Lovely balcony with great views for sunrise and breakfast. Very secure private gated parking. Very helpful friendly hosts. Great restaurant in nearby Milo.

Location was beautiful with lots of bird life.
Very peaceful
Spacious property which was very clean
Host was pleasant & arrived quickly to show us around & hand over keys.
The pool table came into its own as we had very bad weather with torrential rain, thunder & hailstorms.
Great breakfast for a very affordable price. Owners were friendly and allowed us to check-in early. Convenient location for exploring the Mount Etna area. Dined at the hotel the night of our stay, and food and wine was very good. Room was basic but clean.
owner, accommodation welcoming place. everything was more than we have imagined. patio on top of the floor amazing and great place to relax. it is close to everything yet so quiet. you will think you are only person at hotel and yet is full.
