Absolutely loved this place! Two floor charming cabin, even nicer than the pictures. Felt like home, with everything you need. The city itself is not much but if you're traveling with a car it's a really nice and unique stop to spend the night, and enjoy the wonderful view on the way there. the location is amazing. the property itself is very run down. peeling paint, torn and dirty furniture throughout. the reception area and the bathroom of the room I stayed in were especially shocking. the restaurant and pool are okay.

I wrote to the owner before my trip to arrange a pick-up and return to the airport. I was travelling to do work with a volunteer group that couldn't pick me up till the day sfter my arrival. The owner responded he coukd do that and did so.

My husband and I were finishing a trip to Sicily, and we selected Grotta dei Pintail B&B because it is so closely situated to the airport, and it also had excellent reviews. We were able to reach the airport in less than 10 minutes, which made our final day very easy. But on top of that, we had a lovely, spacious and spotlessly-clean room with a large ensuite bathroom and (in our opinion) the best shower during our entire time in Sicily. The family that operates the B&B were very gracious and welcoming, and very understanding that our arrival time kept shifting later (we were driving from the southeast of Sicily). The generous breakfast is served in a many-windowed garden room which provides a view of their beautiful garden. We weren't visiting any of the nearby beaches, but if we had, this would be the perfect spot to base yourself for that purpose. We would love to stay here again if we return to Sicily, and we can highly recommend it to others. Excellent value for the money.

This apartment was close to the airport and the owner was fantastic!! We spent the day in Palermo and spent the night here before our flight out early the next morning. They even have a menu and they cook you dinner so you can re pack and be ready in the morning for the airport.
