What a gorgeous place to stay! The apartment was fascinating to exploe and our host was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to accomodate our needs in so many ways especially when she found out my 86-year-old mother wasn't feeling well. Though there were a lot of stairs to climb, my mother was fascinated by the transformation of a grist mill into an apartment. Highly recommend!

We have visited Monzone for over 20 years and love Da Remo restaurant cheap and very tasty. Not far from Monzone on the
Vinca road opposite Monzone Alta is a wooded area with Bocce [bowls] court and a cafe selling drinks and snacks.Lots of shade and a lovely place to sit in the evenings.
