This is such a special place! It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and is perfectly located for hiking. The farm itself is a peaceful haven where the most amazing range of animals wander freely. We would really recommend booking dinner: every night we got an amazing three course meal which was the quality of a top restaurant at an extremely good price. We particularly loved the homemade pasta and the eggs from the hens outside. Thank you so much to Simon and Claudia and all the family (including the animals) for such a wondeful stay. We will definitely be back!
Set in the National Park of Abruzzo, Anticarua B&B is located in the peaceful town of Opi. An Italian breakfast is served daily and includes hot drinks, croissants and pastries.
Offering an outdoor pool and a garden with children’s playground, Hotel Bucaneve offers rooms in Pescasseroli, inside Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
Surrounded by the unspoiled nature and wildlife of the Abruzzo National Park, the Grand Hotel del Parco is set at an altitude of 3812 feet. The Orsa Maggiore ski elevator is 1.9 mi away.
We went there to traces some ancestral steps. The people of this town were overly friendly and because of that we were successful in finding some relatives. Everyone we talked to were very friendly and willing to help us. Can't say enough about the little bar, where Roberta and Concetta help us find our relatives.
The location was good, Opi is a great alternative to staying in Pescasseroli which was incredibly busy. We had lunch and breakfast in the 'sister' hotel, both of which were fab. Our room was adequate for what we wanted, we stayed one night just to do the bear trekking. We didn't have a view (we had a velux window) which for us wasn't a problem but maybe for someone staying longer might wish for a room with a window with a view.
The location of La Pieja Hotel is juts perfect giving a breathtaking view from rooms and common spaces. As our stay took place during winter, we really appreciated good heating. The whole hotel is very cosy and time spend inside was always enjoyable.
Moreover, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was quite abundant with a variety of things to eat and drink. Definitely coming back!
The b&b is related to the near by hotel pieja where we had very good breakfast. The restaurant is also suggested because it is one of the best on the national park.
In addition staff is kind. The room was cleaned and the beds were comfortable.
I suggest the place as the small city is in good position to have fun in all the park.
