The area is so beautiful, the air is fresh, people are friendly. They have the second biggest monastery which is a UNESCO heritage site and it is beautiful. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday with friendly local, visit here. I am not aware of any public transportation, so renting a car is very recommended.
This new property is away from the tight lanes of Padula, practically in the countryside but in walking distance to the Certosa di San Lorenzo which is an amazing place. We could use the breakfast room/ kitchen to make tea and coffee. Everything was spotless and parking is in the courtyard in front of the house. The breakfast was set out for us in the kitchen and excellent with juice, yoghurt, fruit, croissant and little cakes. Checking in and out was smooth, the owner very friendly and helpful.
It was a bit off season, so really quiet, and I was there for just one night, but I loved the warm welcome, the lovely and luxurous room and the great restaurant. Also, it’s really easy parking next to the hotel, though the hotel is located in the old city center with really narrow streets - which I still find amazing. Regret I couldn’t stay a little longer!
Lovely setting in farmhouse with animals in a nutgrove, a veggie garden and just a leisurely walk from what must be one of the most underrated UNESCO sites in Italy, Padula’s Charterhouse — stunning. The owner is laid back and easy going. Also loved their antipasti for dinner.
We loved our stay at this agroturismo. Great location close to the beautiful village of Padula. The place is all new, sparkling clean and supper convenient. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Recommended place to enjoy this beautiful spot of Italy!
Very quiet location, but only a few minutes drive away from Padula and the Certosa. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the delicious cakes for breakfast. The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable.
Just about everything. The work and planning of this building is incredible, the food in the evening and at breakfast really good and the staff very friendly
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I would stay again
Hidden gem in Padula. Superb location, in the middle of beautiful landscape.
Special recognition to the personnel, she lighten the breakfasts with her joy.
