The town is entirely aimed at tourists and, as a result, while there are many decent restaurants, there are very few typical Italian trattorie and, unless you have a car, food shopping opportunities are limited. On a more positive note there are regular boats to other towns around the lake and Verona is only a fifteen minute train ride away. Our trip was in November and just out of season so the lake Garda ferries had stopped and many attractions were closed mid-week The restaurants and shops were open and not too crowded which was a bonus. The lake shore was beautifully silent and tranquil a lovely place to walk and sit before a leisurely lunch

Oriana and her family were just lovely and spoke English...
Oriana and her family were just lovely and spoke English well enough to direct us on our short walk into town and call us taxis when required. They also helped out with a 2 pin plug for our mobiles which we forgot to bring, relief!! Orina helped out with Gardaland opening times and anything else we needed during our stay. The location was perfect , near the railway station, where you can also catch buses, and 10 mins into the town centre. Loads ristorantes around, we really enjoyed ourselves and gratefully for us Scots, the room had efficient air con. Lots of room, clean and modern. Thanks for having us.

It's a lovely town with really good transport links on the train and ferry. We also visited Bardalino, Lazise and Sirimone, I found all these town much more prettier than Peschiera del Garda and would stay in one of these places if I ever visited again. Sirimone was beautiful but really busy.

It has all the utensils you would need, if you like to cook in on your vacation. The apartment is located 8 minutes by foot to the superstore migros and also the train station Peschiera Del Garda. During our stay we didn't even used our car once, cause everything was reachable by foot. It was an amazing time and we were really happy with the apartment.
