It’s in a great location, away from crowds and I within walking distance to the beach. There’s also parking BUT for small cars. They have bikes for you to borrow and it’s great to bike to town and to Marina di Ragusa. if you want a comfortable place to stay with a great host- this is it.
The ceilings are a bit angular so just be careful- I banged my head a few times.

Beautiful little beach town.
We met a charming and lovely couple who welcomed us to their home. We truly enjoyed talking to them and were quite taken by the care and attention to the place. During out car trip though the Italy, this place truly stood out by how well it was stocked with everything imaginable a traveler might need. It was also a spacious and very comfortable place to stay. Really good energy. Hosts spend their time, explaining everything and then leaving us with loads of food and drinks. We will cherish the memories of our stay in Punto Secco.
Thank you!!!

Eat at Pappappero - lovely local specialties like swordfish rolls and caponata, and a pleasant surprise was the best pasta I've had in years in Italy or elsewhere (the one with Trapanese pesto).
Wasn't such a fan of Rosengarten restaurant.
The beach is beautiful, and it's worth going to have a peak at Montalbano's house.
If you have a bike, cycle down to Marina di Ragusa for the day.

Still a small less developed/touristy place andit has a lovely village feel. Scenery is fantastic but not a lot to do if you dont like laying on a beach. Loads of interesting stuff to see around and about but really need to hire a car to see everything. Though you are only 20 miles or so from Ragusa Ibli which is a unesco world heritage site and filled with jaw dropping baroque archtechture which i loved.

Fabulous little village with a truly wonderful beach - perfect for small children as it’s very shallow water in the bay. A plentiful supply of typically Italian restaurants. Very restful and relaxing.

We went to Punta Secca as we are fans of the Detective series Inspector Montalbano so that was one of the main reason for coming to this part of the island for a couple of days. We wanted to see the house on the beach from which alot of the earlier series were filmed. This is now a bed and breakfast
The beach and sea were lovely although there would not be enough to occupy us for a longer stay, If you wanted the beach, a lovely safe location. Not alot of shops as not that type of location but a variety of restaurants

A very small town with no shops.
A very small town with no shops. Only 2 grocery shops, one of which was closed for the first week. All the restaurants seemed to have the same thing on the menu. The pizza place and ice cream parlour were often shut and there wasn't a bar to sit in the evening. There was a nice beach bar however which we used. Very isolated without a car. We did get a bus a couple of times but not easy as no bus stops! The only claim to fame is Insp Montalbano's house.

Punta Secca is a great little beach town.
Punta Secca is a great little beach town. Windy at times, so be prepared with a jacket. For fans of Commisario Montalbano, it's a must since this town serves as the fictional "Marinella" where he has his home.
