This was a gem of a place. The location was in front of an amazing beach. The sea view room was just perfect. We met Gina at the front desk. She was welcoming and supported us with all our requirement. She went overboard to help us offered us food late night when we overslept while taking a nap. She also suggested to go for a dolphin tour which was so worth it.

Four nights in October 2023 was thoroughly enjoyable. Fransesca, was a gracious host who shared her knowledge of the area and prepared the most delicious breakfast with local ingredients every morning. The comfortable apartment was clean and refreshed regularly and had a scenic view which will be remembered, but most of all, we will remember her genuine hospitality.

The property was great in every way for our 3 night stop in Golfo Aranci.
The breakfast was a nice way to start the morning
In a very comfortable setting outside by the pool.
The Turkish bath and massage that was scheduled on request were a great way to relax and distress before heading back home.
There were some cute shops and restaurants that offered quality local cuisine in the area and best of all, the staff was super professional, warm and accommodating.
We would highly recommend Villa Margherita for
anyone visiting Golfo Aranci!

Local train was at the other end of the town
Golfo Aranci is a small town so easy to get around by walking.
Getting to Albia can be done by train however not very frequent
If you want to travel around the area you probably need a car.
Very friendly and welcoming local peop[le.

Golfo Aranci was my favourite town in Sardinia, it is picture perfect, the people and staff at our hotel were so nice & Friendly, the town has a small Train Station and you can reach Olbia in 25 mins via Train. When I return to Sardinia I will stay here again. Lots of water activities available, and boat trips you can take from the port.

Perfect location, being right on the beach and near shops...
Perfect location, being right on the beach and near shops and cafe was great. The late check in charge is a bit unfair as we don't control the times of the fights and potential delays at airport. Being charged a lot extra to leave luggage there was also a bit unfair too especially if no new guests were expected that day.
The beach was gorgeous and the water was superb! Supermarkets are not as cheap as you might expect when overseas. The town is very traditional and beautiful with no high rise buildings and fast food restaurants etc. Most of the tourists are Italian which is great for those who really want to escape from their normal environment.
The locals are very friendly.
Over all a gorgeous quiet location if you want to relax.

A little quiet for us in May.
A little quiet for us in May. We were quite surprised at how out of season it felt during the UK half term. (End May / early June). Lots of places closed or in the process of being done up for the summer season.

The location was absolutely beautiful.!
The location was absolutely beautiful.!
There were some issues with the bathroom that were never addressed. The reception was aware and made a call to the owners but nothing was ever done within the 10 days we were there.

Very friendly to English tourists.
Very friendly to English tourists. Got treated very differently to local italians which was very disappointing. Very very expensive taxis (not sure if it was just because we were tourists) and no public transport so be careful on the location of your hotel or where you are staying. Also restaurants close or stop serving food 4-7pm.
The staff colleagues were all together in making the guest experience wonderful. The owner and the cook were both ladies and delightful.
Breakfast was killer good. What’s not to like about great coffee, eggs fried in butter and olive oil with stracciatelli fresh cheese on a fresh baked croissant. The fruit selections great. They only have four rooms but feels like a top shelf hotel with kindness and generosity.
The rooftop bar was also excellent for dinner with a reservation.
Beautiful place all the way around. Highly recommend.
I can write an essay on how great this property is. Most importantly, the rooms are super clean, cleaner than most luxury 5 star hotels. Francesca is the most amazing host that anyone could ask for. She is very kind and helpful. The served the most amazing breakfasts. The property is very authentic Italian villa style and that’s why we chose it. It has great views of the wineries nearby and the water. Very close to everything. The nicest beaches are 10-20 minutes away.
everything about the property is sperb! facilities are very clean and well kept, staffs are very helpful and friendly and very accommodating especially Elisa. the hotel is a perfect spot if you want to relax and rejuvenate the location is perfect with alot of beaches near by and restaurants. olbia town is about 20 mins away with unreal views.
We loved thelocationof the villa- a great place to stay in Golfo Aranci . We stayed 16 nights and saw all we wanted to in the North East and Alghero. The room was very comfortable and the owner, Roberta was extremely helpful and kind . She was a great source of recommendations fro local restaurants. Morning coffee was delicious !!
The location was perfect, right on the beach, near shops and cafes. Very central especially for those who don't hire a car.
The taxi service contact we were given was fantastic, they arrived on time for airport pick up and depart from apartment.
Host is very prompt on responding to queries.
very convenient position, just at the entrance of Golfo Aranci, but you can travel around on foot, if you don’t fancy taking the car. supermarket literally round the corner. lovely central sea view. agency super friendly, turned up at check out with a goodbye gift (nice bottle of local wine).
Great specious apartment with a private terrace and an amazing sea view! Very helpful and friendly manager. Perfect location too, quiet and residential but the town centre is only a few mins walk or a couple of minutes drive, also plenty of beautiful beaches nearby to choose from
Breakfast served in the morning with very large choise of Sardinian products. Excellent stay, very close to the most beautiful sandy beach, lots of restaurants 10’ walk from the hotel. Staff helpful, welcoming, speaking english and french.
Amazing experience! great breakfast served in the reception area ( ham , bread, cheese , croissants, coffee, fruits) , brilliant clean room, and the most friendly staff! Location is in walking distance to everywhere in Golfo Aranci.
Fantastic service, great breakfast, Francesca really sets you up for the day!
Peaceful setting with a nice view of the hills and the Sardinian sea.
Rural location, very hot in July, but very pleasant with the air con.
Charming hotel, run by a couple and decorated with love. Excellent location on the seafront and walking distance from really good seafood restaurants. Simple Italian style breakfast of homemade cakes and cappuccino.
The hotel staff were excellent, as was the location and amenities. We had an excellent stay and would recommend the Hotel Marana to others. It was close to the beach, the food was good and the room was comfortable.
Best location, only few meters away from beach, very clean house with everything you need. The host is very friendly. Excellent price for quality of the services. Very good for big families or for family with baby.
The location is perfect-very close to Olbia, restaurants, beaches and places to visit yet still provides a rural Sardinian country retreat feel with a stillness and tranquility that relaxes the soul.
The apartment has a great view of the bay of Golfo Aranci, however, you can only enjoy it early in the morning or in the evening as the terrace has no sun protection.
