The winery lodge is located in a small town and is a working winery. It is quaint and our room was spacious and beatifully presented and had an amazing bathroom. Bottled waster was provided each day - although there was no fridge in the room. We enjoyed both wine tasting and an excellent dinner - available to guests on Saturday night. It was a very relaxed place to stay. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Parking was secure inside the property and there was charging point for electric cars.

Casa nel Verde was everything we wanted: quiet and rural, but with fantastic facilities. We had our own apartment plus use of several common areas that allowed complete privacy. We were greeted by the charming owner personally, and were able to park on site. A homemade tart awaited us, and the fridge was full with everything we needed for breakfast (with excellent coffee!), and there were gluten-free options, as requested. The small kitchen had everything we needed, including pots and pans, a toaster and other appliances. We were hosted to drinks and canapes on the first night. There was a problem with the WiFi at the start - it stopped working - but the host came fixed it immediately by replacing the modem. After that, the WiFi was fast and efficient and we had no problems whatsoever. The beds were comfortable with very firm mattresses. A small balcony offers a view over the village and of the nearby countryside. The host was very friendly and helpful even before we got there - he provided information on gluten-free restaurants and sights, and also offered tips on things to do. On site, he arranged visits to nearby vineyards. He and his wife also hosted us to a special home-cooked (gluten-free) meal in honour of a special occasion. Several times during the stay, we were invited to coffee and to have a bite. He was always available on WhatsApp, and responded quickly to any queries. True Italian hospitality. We feel we've made new friends. This property is on our list of places to return to.

Beautiful property in a lovely location, and the wines were phenomenal. Be sure and do a wine tasting. Breakfast was a real treat; plenty of choices and we felt spoiled. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was very nice also. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. We’re so thankful to have met and talked with Giuliana. She was a joy to spend time with and so very knowledgeable; Braida is fortunate to have her. In addition, Maria was wonderful to us as well. We will definitely be back—loved every minute of our stay.
