If you are looking for rural Italy, you found it.
If you are looking for rural Italy, you found it. Not too far away from Rome but this is an area without tourism. The environment is beautiful, the food is good, the people are friendly. I was there for my masters and had to stay there a few weeks. After two days it was known who I was (Dutch guy in an Audi) who spoke bad Italian but needed dinner in the evening.

The place is great as base for shorter and longer trips.
The place is great as base for shorter and longer trips. Only 15 min on foot to the mountain lake. The house is very cosy and comfortable, very well equipped, newly renovated. It was a great pleasure to meet the house's owners. He was very kind and helpful. Worth recommending!
