The room offered was a very good value
The roof top bar was nice and pleasant, but not well utilized.
The breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. Too much effort in terms of number of cakes which isn't my idea of a breakfast.
Set just by Como's old city walls, Hotel Le Due Corti is a historic building with a car park. Como Nord Borghi Train Station, offering direct connections to Milan, is 1969 feet away.

Great location, breakfast, room and friendly staff. The front desk gave us info on Bellagio ferry plus an umbrella for the rains.

Orso Bruno is a small establishment so our rooms were on separate floors but easy to get to. This was just a stopover to break up a long drive home (with 2 kids in the car) so it fit the bill. The view of Lake Como was accessible to us (just across the road) and it was beautiful. You could catch a ferry ride from right next door! We weren't able to enjoy their restaurant as it was closed that day. Good parking that could accommodate our large car (with reservation in advance).

The hotel is really beautiful, the views are stunning just as you can see in the pictures. Totally recommend the breakfast! It was very good, with a lot of options and the restaurant has views to the lake.
