This place is so homely, comfortable and clean. Our lovely host Katerina is so kind and hospitable to ensure our stay is comfortable. Every morning we look forward to her freshly baked Italian cake. This location is surrounded by scenic mountains and a short drive to lake Auronzo, good base for hiking in Dolomites. Another thing we noticed, people in Dolomites are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back to stay here in the near future. Thank you so much for making our trip to Dolomites so wonderfully memorable.

This lodging was exquisite. The people, the food, the room, and the service all exceeded expectations! Auronzo is a very small town, and it was so comforting to be able to come home each evening to a warm and welcoming environment.
Set on the shores of Lake Auronzo, Hotel Juventus features rooms with views of the Dolomites and the lake. It is 0.6 mi from Auronzo di Cadore center and features a bar and traditional restaurant.

Breakfast was plentiful, with many breads and pastries, cheeses and sliced meats (like Italian lunchmeat/prosciutto). They also made fresh scrambled eggs every morning. Someone would come and take your coffee order and bring it to your table. They also offer dinner most nights but you have to schedule it with them. We didn't know about this and ate in town for dinner and there were VERY few places available--we ate at the same place twice. (But it was amazing and I recommend it--Ristorante Alla Fenice). At least that was the case in early October when we were there... post summer season. Beds were comfy and bathroom was spotless. The VIEW from the balconies off the rooms was gorgeous, looking over the town and the lake at the bottom and the mountains surrounding. There is a very easy walk around the lake and over the dam and back through the town which was beautiful. The town feels like a fairy land. Couldn't have been more pleased. We did the Tre Cime hike about 40 minutes away (and the most spectacular drive to get there!) and it was one of the most stunning hikes I have ever taken. The gal at the front desk of the hotel was very knowledgeable on the hikes and can help with planning. There is also a visitor's center in town and you can ask them questions and get maps.

Food was great, especially at the restaurant in the hotel. Owners were extremely nice and accommodating. Spa was wonderful. Tons of hiking and biking in the area, and bikes are available to rent. I hope to stay at the Monaco sport hotel again!
