San Pantaleone itself is not that much attractive, We chose to stay there for its close location to the Parco Nazionale dell Aspromonte and the sea. The places to visit are definitely close by, as Roghudi Vecchio, Bova and the national park of course. Please bear in mind when travelling to Roghudi Vecchio from San Pantaleone that the roads are in terrible state and it is highly recommended to have an SUV. We made it with a standard car but it was not a pleasant ride. Roghudi Vecchio is a ghost town, completely abandoned after a big flooding in 1973. Therefore, it is good to plan a lunch/ dinner in Bova where you can find nice restaurants with delicious local food.KatarinaSpain
