Raffy, Andrew and family are without a doubt the best hosts we’ve ever met. They go away beyond the call of duty. The breakfast is amazing and homemade every day. They called to make reservations for us at three excellent restaurants. The rooms are so very well appointed and a throwback in time.
If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't.
If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't. The bus systems aren't very reliable and you can't stay too long in the city or else you miss the last bus that leaves early in the night. I had multiple experiences standing and waiting at bus stops in 95-degree heat for busses that were running late and it was miserable. San Pietro in Cariano is a beautiful little town but there isn't much there and not many people speak a language outside of Italian as it is not a tourist spot and such a small town. There are a few restaurants in town, but the language barrier is difficult and often I would just prefer to wait and eat down in Verona as it was easier. The commute by bus into town is about 30-40 minutes and there is no working AC on the bus so you are either standing or sitting in your own sweat for that entire time. I would have rather spent the money and stayed in the city, but the place I stayed in San Pietro in Cariano was lovely and I have no complaints about that, I just chose the wrong location.

the land surrounding the villa is awesome. the pool is fantastic! I stayed there 2 years ago with my father and had to go back with my wife. we stayed in the detached villa from the main house next to the pool. the stairs to the 2nd story bedroom is a little steep but worth the view.

Nice small town in the middle of the Valpolicella wine region. Walking distance to a small convenience store, church and a few wineries. Several wineries are within a 5 minute drive. The location was good to get to Milan and to Venice. The train station in Verona is about a 15-20 min easy drive with plenty of pay parking at the station.

We were looking for off the beaten path , cozy place and it delivered. Big hotels and buzzy locations have their benefits , however this is NOT it. Lots of history there and amazing views., Villa Betteloni wins you over the second you step out of the car. We felt extremely comfortable there , as the place shared it soul with us ( hard to explain) Our hosts were extremely generous , Mario - we apreciate all of your hospitality :) . Can't wait to get back there.
The staff here was definitely the best we have had at any hotel ever. They were kind, funny, helpful and reasonable. They made you feel like you were part of a family from the moment you arrived and were given a glass of prosecco. They gave great recommendations for wineries and places to see. We ended up eating both our dinners there and just hanging out on the property as it was just a cool place to stay with everyone taking care of us.
We enjoyed 8 nights at the Florivana Boutique Hotel as a family of 5. The hotel is a great place to stay, very clean, with a modern and very nice Italian style interior and with a great breakfast buffet. The rooms were quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. The host, Signora Elisabetta, was very kind and supporting. We enjoyed this location as it enables fast access to Lake Garda, Verona, Venezia, etc.
The hotel is an art lovers dream and that’s why I chose it. That didn’t disappoint!! It is truly incredible in every way! The dining staff were phenomenal - the food for lunch & dinner so memorable. Loved Sam & Mario, Hirosha, Diego and Vitali (driver) - what service!!! But it’s the art that makes this hotel one of the greatest experiences ever. I can forgive a lot to be able to sit amongst those treasures.
It's a winery with a hotel. Its location is in a Vineyard as you would expect and you're in some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The staff was nice and the rooms are finished beautifully. They have a great set of kitchen facilities where you can buy wine, coffee, and other things. We grabbed a few bottles and enjoyed them on the veranda.
Host is really warm welcome with Prosecco. We feel relax and super comfortable staying here. The villa building is also beautiful, elegant and charming with real wood. The area is surround with natural big pine trees, grape and lemon tree. We love this hotel and hope to come back again.
Francisco was super friendly to us, we had amazing small talk. The room was cozy, location is stunning
We faced issues with the key, but receptionist resolved in a few minutes and gifted us a compliment from the hotel which was amazing gesture!
Absolutely amazing hotel with wonderful grounds, an excellent pool, lovely staff, good breakfast. A lot of great restaurants nearby (20 min drive) and very close to Verona. We really loved our stay and would definitely come back.
The hotel could be considered as a “living art gallery”. There are a lot of experiences to be discovered.
Additionally, the food at the gourmet restaurant is exceptional. The staff there was great and pleasant. chapeau!
The quiet location, the overall inside feeling, the comfort of the atypical room, the friendliness of the staff (hotel’s and company’s).The Locanda&tour experience was a big plus. Excellent breakfast.
Everything was in line with what was expected. Pretty good hotel to sleep through one night. The price is in accordance with the offer. I would definitely go there again, if the road led me.
Great hotel with wonderfull entourage and host. Nice breakfast made in place from local products. Great atmosphere and good place to visit wineyards, Verona and Garda Lake cost.
The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast was amazing. The wine bar and the different quality of wines were very good.
The location, the hotel is beautiful, staff(Pacho) from the wine store wS amazing and the food was fantastic.
It’s a beautiful place to have a wedding.
