When we arrived we were informed that they moved us to the sister property next door "the Grand Hotel Savoia"
From all appearances that was an upgrade for us at the same price. The hotel (savoia) was a beautiful property and the room was also very nice as well as comfortable. People at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able
to walk to wherever we needed to go and was extremely close to the train station to catch our train.

I decided to stay in this hotel only because of the parking, I had a lot of luggage, and security was my priority. In fact I was very satisfied with everything so for me, it was perfect for one night away from noise and a lot of people
In the morning, i took the ferry from genova Port, which took only 20 minutes driving from the hotel .
