We liked everything in the apartment. It was super clean, spaceous, and convenient. We had all the facilities we needed and more than that. The stop for the bus to the center of Bologna was a few minutes away.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is within a reasonable walking distance to restaurants, as well as the main sights of Bologna. The furnishings and decor in the hotel were grander than what I expected. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Great coffee shop across the street.

Good location close to city centre (all under cover so sheltered from rain). with easy access to the train station and nearby supermarkets. excellent receptionists - met our requests and helped us to explain to the taxi driver where we need to go).

Quiet, with a supply of small shops, bars, good pizzerias & a reasonable restaurant (altho closed Sun evening & Monday). Ponticella/San Ruffillo is close enough to the city by frequent, efficient bus service but do research routes and tickets before visiting - eg the City's app was fraught with issues, so suggest using physical tickets. Don't expect to rely on taxis anywhere outside the city limits even if you're only a few km from the centre.
