Everything was wonderful. The hotel is small, very cozy, furnished with great taste. We arrived freezing and were immediately served hot tea. The same thing happened at night. To my surprise, upon leaving the hotel, the tea was not included in the bill:) The room has a balcony. The breakfast is great. To my great regret, we could not use the SPA.

We enjoyed Santa Margherita Ligure very much.
We enjoyed Santa Margherita Ligure very much. It was a delightful town by the beach. There are lots of different places to eat. There is an absolutely delightful walk to Portofino along the coast. In the other direction there is also a lovely walk to Rapallo.

This city is a must visit.
This city is a must visit. The city itself has plenty to offer, from shops to an array of great seafood restaurants. Awesome waterfront and the perfect connection, in whichever way suits you, on foot, by bus or ferry, to Portofino...and we did try all three.

I would have rather stayed in Santa Margarita than in Cinque Terra. CT was nice but SM was larger, the feel was more holiday Mediterranean style, more restaurants, shops... a great base to stay and then take the train or ferries down to CT

I loved the area.
I loved the area. I would stay there and take day trips to Cinque Terre rather than staying there. Cinque Terre is very noisy. it’s less expensive to take the bus rather than the ferry to Portofino.because was a short ride. Even though we were a mile from town it was too long and uphill to walk back. Taxi rides are $30 each way. I wish we were closer to the strip. There were many shops and nice restaurants on the strip and in town. Beautiful place

The staff was nice, rooms standard size for italy but well organzied, clean and comfortable. The locations is awesome, the upper rooms with balconies are very great with beautiful views. If you have a car, you may find free parking on the street but they have a automatic underground car parking, its pretty cool and cost $20/night. The have a nice rooftop terrace, small with a cool dipping pool. Beach front loungers/umbreallas, breakfast great, outside seating. We had drinks outside. It was all great. Small elevators. :(
Our stay at the Hotel Continental in Santa Margarita was a memorable experience. The stunning location, impeccable service, and the opportunity to stay in a sea facing room and enjoy breakfast on the terrace while overlooking the bay made it a truly special visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious getaway with unbeatable views. It's a hidden gem that I hope to return to in the future.
Hotel Helios is situated in an awesome location for exploring Santa Margherita Ligure, going to the beach or enjoying the gorgeous hotel pool and waterfront area. The hotel is charming inside with a lovely old world feel. The breakfast was very nice. This combined with the beautiful ocean view and luxurious dining room was a wonderful start to each morning. It is conveniently located close to the train station.
We only booked this hotel because my children were staying here and we wanted to be close to them.
I was surprised and pleased at how nice this everything was…..
From the seaside views, the beautifully landscaped property, the proximity to town.
The breakfast was excellent, as were the staff and the facilities. I enjoyed the indoor pool, spa, and sauna.
Very cute boutique hotel that is only steps away from a public beach at Praggi, it's a great budget way to stay near Portofino. So close to the walking trail to walk to Portofino along the coast. The bathroom was separate from the room itself but it was private and clean, the breakfast was so yummy!
The hotel is a beautiful establishment with a very nice garden for a lovely breakfast offered and located just 100mtrs from the centre. Excellent service and comfortable bed completes the picture. Definitely staying there next time we decide to come to Santa Margherita Ligure.
Ambiance was eclectic and warm. Rooms are well appointed & comfortable.
Breakfast was wonderful; great selection and presentation was beautiful.
Staff are respectful, engaging and know the area with great dinner reservations.

The location is amazing and the private beach for hotel guests is handy, although very small and the lifeguard is super rude.
The manager was very helpful and apologetic when we complained about our bed linen being dirty and room not cleaned properly.
The free breakfast was really excellent. Lots of very good choices and great staff. Our room was very small, and the bathroom was very small.
Great location of the hotel , walking distance to the train station and to the waterfront.
This property is by far our favorite during our 3 week trip in Italy. The service is outstanding, room was beautiful with terrace. gorgeous pool and restaurant terrace is outstanding. Beach club a bonus and breakfast was wonderful.

Wonderful service and experience, we got a free upgrade to an executive room on arrival which was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed every minute in the beautiful hotel in Santa Margherita Liguere
Great hotel in the Heart of Santa Margherita. Very Helpful And friendly staff! We arrived in the morning And they managed to accomodate Us much earlier than 2 pm. highly recommend to everyone.
Excellent waterfront hotel with lush gardens overlooking a beach and Santa Margherita Lugaria’s Bay. Very convenient location and excellent facilities. Breakfast and Dinner were real treats.
The best hotel in the whole region! The location is perfect and pastoral, the staff is so kind, the breakfast was wonderful, the price is fair and the view is lovely. Much recommend
I honestly did not like the hotel, and all the things in the room are old and poor, and the rooms are very small compared to the pictures, which look like a luxury hotel
