Beautiful property with an amazing view of Catania. The pool was open but a little cool so didn’t take it dive in it, but I would if I were there later in the year. Very inviting location. It’s not in the heart of anything but it’s centrally located to everything. We were only 45 minutes from Mount Etna, as well as Taormina and only 30 minutes away from the heart of Catania. It’s a great location if you’re wanting to visit all three places and stay in one location.

We only spent one night there, transitioning from Taormina area toward our flight out of Catania airport the next day. The Palace Catania staff were very accommodating though. We had a 6 am flight out the next morning, so the front desk prebooked us a taxi for very early the next morning, and they arranged to breakfast bags to be ready for us. Truly, and wonderful staff!
