Breakfast was very nice, with a good variety of choices. The restaurant was a big disappointment. Weird "gourmet" menu.
The isolated location of the borgo forces guests to be captive. Aperitifs were over priced. Bar staff music selection was offensive Rap on one evening.

Great view, perfect spot for relaxing and escaping from busy life. We (a couple) booked only 1 night, but stayed another one when we arrived as we fell in love with the place immediately. Super sweet cottage with amazing views, quiet, we even saw wild boars near the house! Welcoming, lovely family who were nice to find a solution for us to stay a 2nd night and also recommended beautiful places to visit nearby. We regretted that we didn't have time to stay longer. I can only recommend this place.

Not a large town, but offers great access to Florence via the train station. Also, this location had a lot of food options and great wines all within a short commute. I found these smaller, neighboring villages to be better suited for exploring and eating than Florence was. Great views to be had around this area too.
