Room on the tight side, but comfortable and clean.
On the main street, great location.
Staff helpful.
Hotel Marini is in a quiet yet central area of Sassari and is in a green area. The in-house restaurant is a great place to sample traditional Sardinian cuisine.

The staff at breakfast was superfriendly and helpful. The place is ok, the rooms and facilities are a bit dates and the location is quite a bit outside. It's a good choice for a quick sleep over on a trip, which is what we did.

This is a great place to stay in Sassari. We enjoyed everything: the cosy atmosphere in the rooms, the furnitures and works are of good quality, the place on the terrasse for breakfast is nice, the breakfast as well (our host made savory breakfast because we did not want sweet ones).
It was easy to communicate with Massimo.
The place was spotless: respect for maintaining such cleanliness in all the building!

During our stay my partner and I didn’t take the time to explore the city of Sassari. But during the evenings we did enjoy going to a couple nice restraunts. We did enjoy using the public transportation to visit other cities but overall sassari is a very calm place to stay and very close to the north western part of the island.

Not a real tourist town but with a nice old centre (small streets, high houses, colorful facades). When we visited it (late afternoon + early evening first week of May), it was extremely quiet - some squares seemed totally deserted - which created a weird atmosphere. Scene and streets got more livelier around Piazza d'Italia and University but not what you might expect from a city with >100.000 inhabitants.
Conclusion: nice but not unmissable.

Connection from Sassari to the various beaches is good and public transport is very good and efficient. Alghero airport is just 20 mins away. There are lovely places to visit, beautiful sea and sand and weather was nice and warm. Will surely return

Sassari is a very nice town with historical city center, old walls and friendly people. Sadly the tram line is not working, although it would be useful. You can stay here for many days like at home. The town is near Alghero and Porto Torres, so many programs are there at the sea also. Recommended for everyone.

Sassari itself was disappointing.
Sassari itself was disappointing. We walked around it in an afternoon! However it was a great base for exploring the local area with great transport links! We visited Alghero, Porto Torres, Castelsardo and Stintino

The city is nice but i belive that is not the best place for accommodation in Sardignia! No beach and you need a car for traveling and stay in around 4 hours/day.
Nice restaurants in the city :) with nice athmosfere!
Central position in Sassari, it was easy to reach the places where I had my conference by foot
Comfy bed
Tv+netflix
Equipped kitchen
The size of the apartment
Hairdryer
Aircondition in two rooms, works well
Nice bar under the apartment, that has food also
Street with a lot of little stores like libreria, pharmacy, clothes etc.
Our stay at Il Castello was wonderful! The location is perfect, in the authentic city center of Sassari with a great view overlooking the city. Excellent restaurants nearby. The room was very clean, with comfortable bed and air conditioner which was very much appreciated in the summer. Would definitely stay here again!
Really nice, modern, comfortable and clean room, with good quality amenities. The hotel staff was very kind, reception, restaurant and room ladies alike, everybody smiling all the time. Breakfast was also perfect, salty and sweet warm and cold, fresh fruits, juices, coffee of you choice; all you can dream of :)
Massimo was super friendly and helpful. He recommended some places to visit on our trip down to Cagliari. Place is clean. Good location within Sassari and we used it as a base to visit Alghero and other cities/beaches. We were able to find parking on the street a couple blocks away.
The accommodation was great! Although in an older building, the inside of the apartment had everything we needed and more! Plenty of breakfast amenities, and the owner was really nice. We enjoyed out stay there and loved that the place is in the centre of Sassari!
It was a very good stay! The room was nice and confortable, with a big bathroom and a little kitchen outside if needed. 5 min away from the center of the town. We’ve got all the informations easily - good communication. Perfect place to visit SASSARI!
Nice and cozy flat in the middle of antique Sardinian city of Sassari. Strategic location, close to Alghero airport (30 min) and some of the nicest beaches in north West Sardinia like La Pelosa and Porto Ferro. Also great value for money.
Nice apartment very close to city, but in the nature. Beautiful views, no disturbing by cars and very friendly and willingness owner, Mrs. Franca and their family. Highly recommended for spending time in Sassari. Thank you Franka
I liked the communication with the contact person, the location is excellent, the studio has everything for a comfy and smooth stay in Sassari. It is a quiet area but 5 minutes walking distance from everything.
Very cozy and nice hotel well located in Sassari. The personal are very welcoming and very helpful. You are few minutes walk from lots of restaurants and attractions. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Fabulous, walkable location right next to the old town. Room quiet, spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast exceptional. Very good beds, wide and firm. Found parking behind the block from the hotel.
The staff was the best part of this charming hotel! They helped us with travel suggestions and reservations. Dinner at the hotel was fabulous! I highly recommend if you're staying in Sassari!
It´s such a nice and lovely place to stay. Everything looks like at photos, it´s small but there is everything you could need. I would recommend to anyone who plans to stay at Sassari!
Great location. Evelyn was very helpful and pleasant. Hotel recently renovated and the decor is very tasteful. Very generous breakfast - far too much for our taste!
Big, clean and modern studio with comfy beds in the central part of Sassari.
Super nice hosts that quickly replies to the messages. Very easy self check-in.
