We went on extremely low season, the week before Easter. We were the only guests and we really enjoyed. The restaurant serving all farm-to-table food (meat, wine, olive oil) at a reasonable price was an unexpected treat! The proximity to hiking trails and other superb attractions was awesome.

Amazing place near the ocean with views and lots of things to do. We went to eat at Il Faro a couple of times and we really enjoyed it. Climbed the mountain to see the Etruscan ruins, great views from up there. The city of Talamone is very nice to walk and enjoy for the passeggiata.

Really nice town, lovely landscape and views. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is very "chic/posh", which translates into over expensive restaurants and hotels. Still, worth visiting (specially if you take a boat!).

Nice landscape with nice views. Close to sea and close to the peninsula. Just beware the roads on the peninsula - depending on the car and skill, it might be to much for you (nort-western part of the via vicinale is sand-rock path that fits one car just fine, except that it isn’t a one way street).

Unfortunately, probably due to the last 18 months of pandemic, the services were limited (no lunch) and the attention to details was somehow lower than expected for the price paid (some breakfast details /offers, laundry bags in the upper walkways at all times, no paintings on the room walls, etc..). That being said, I would recommend the hotel very highly.

Accommodation was not fancy but we were comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Costanza gave us all the necessary tips for where to visit in the are. We loved the restaurant at Casa Ricci! Good base for visiting the Maremma Natural park.
