Very convenient to Florence. Bus stop to get into the city is down the hill and able to purchase tickets from the owner. The owner, Fabrizia, was very helpful in making suggestions on local places to eat.
Fabrizio and her husband were both very welcoming and great hosts!

Location was great—5-10 minutes walking for most tourist areas but relatively quiet for sleeping (especially the rear facing rooms). We easily walked from the train station to the hotel with our luggage (backpacks). The breakfast was great. We loved the made to order cappuccinos! Happy hour with snacks and drinks was also appreciated after a long day sight-seeing. This hotel is just right—not too fancy, very comfortable, and with all the amenities we needed.

AMAZING location! Walking distance to everything in Florence. 5 minutes to the Duomo and Accademia (The David). Filling and varied breakfast (assortment of breads, spreads, fruit, eggs, yogurt, cheese, cereal, breakfast meats, etc.). Friendly staff onsite 24/7- they were particularly helpful in checking train times for us and giving us directions, etc. Clean and modernized. Typical European sized rooms- small for American standards, but standard for Europe.

A lovely hotel in a quiet 'out of town' location in the Tuscan countryside, yet only about 20 minutes by bus from the centre of Florence. The last bus back is at about 11.15pm so you can still enjoy an evening in the city without worrying about the time.
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, Fabrizia and her husband could not have been better hosts.
I would highly recommend a bottle or two of the local Chianti which they sell on site, and a meal at the local restaurant about 10 minutes walk away.
