We really enjoyed the location on the water with a view of the port. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful. When we arrived there was a big celebration in town so the streets were very crowded making it hard to find parking. The staff arranged for us to drive into the ZTL so we could drop our bags and park nearby. Our room was very spacious and clean. That night there was a party on the rooftop which was quite loud, but thankfully it ended promptly by midnight so everyone could sleep peacefully. I would absolutely stay here again.

Wow! We loved Le Dimore di Don Corrado. It was the best town and the best accommodation we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Pulia. Claudia, our host could not have been more accommodating and friendly. She met us on arrival, help guide us with parking, suggested restaurants and made sure we had everything we needed. The view from our room was stunning! The bed was comfortable. The shower was phenomenal and the design and attention to detail was superb. Access is great with an elevator or stairs up to the 4th floor. It felt like a 5 star hotel.

We arrived out of the main tourist season, the town was quiet, however food & drink was plentiful. We visited the Castle & Cathedral late on in the day, but we enjoyed the experience, especially the climb up the Bell Tower, 258 steps, however worthwhile, the views were outstanding.
Great pizza at Art'e L'Arcimboldo Pizza Cafe!!

Diverting to Puglia was a last-minute decision for us, and we were not disappointed. Trani is a small but bustling city with good train access, a few sites of historical interest, and a fabulous harbor to the Adriatic Sea. Because it was not high season, when the tour busses left their day-stops, we felt like two of only a few tourists left in town.
Trani is the place to go if you are a seafood lover. At dusk, the fishing boats pull into the harbor, back up to the dock, and offer up their daily catch. Locals browse from boat to boat, loading up on whatever looks best, and restaurant patrons feast on the freshest of fresh fish and shellfish that evening. We had an incredible meal at Osteria ai Platani (highly recommend).
Had we planned this stop, we'd have stayed at least one more night for the food, wine, and ambiance alone.

We didn't really explore Trani except to walk to the port for a drink after we had arrived. We had a lot of trouble finding the hotel when we first arrived as the name on our booking was different to the name on the hotel, which caused some confusion and delays in checking in. The port area was pleasant to visit but the hotel was situated near the train station and we had to walk through small, narrow roads to reach the port.

We travelled around a few places in Puglia and Trani was surprisingly our favourite town to visit. It was peaceful, no tourists about and felt so authentically Italian whilst also having a great vibe in the evening and plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy the beautiful views.

Nice town with a busy port area.
Nice town with a busy port area. Not THAT much to see or do in the actual town, but very well connected by train to go further a field.
Lots of great restaurants from cafes to Michelin star. Most nearly all super quality fish based. Barring a steak and the occasional burger, you'll struggle to get meat, if fish is not your thing.
Beaches are a bit out of town and mainly on rocks or stones. 'Beach clubs are quite expensive, given the quality and lack of swim facilities (€35 - €50 per day for two)
Not that much English spoken: An observation rather than a criticism (A pet hate of mine, when people complain about that. Learn the language or at least be able to pass yourself).
What an amazing place to stay. Beautifully renovated B and B in the heart of the historical center of Trani. Perfect location steps away from great restaurants and shops. All of the modern amenities, spotless, wonderfully decorated. Valeria our host is amazing. She is warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent. Delicious breakfast each morning. Highly recommend! Thank you Valeria for providing such a beautiful place to stay.
Claudia was lovely and hospitable. The building was charming and right on the piazza overlooking the bay. There was an elevator, which was helpful for luggage. The room had a beautiful view and was just as pictured. It was clean and comfortable with the best pillows in all of southern Italy! Claudia also gave us the best restaurant recommendation of the entire trip, Osteria Ai Platani. Definitely would return!
Silva and her husband were delightful hosts. They were available for any request and recommended numerous beautiful restaurants and locations which made our trip in Trani special. Our room was small but very clean, good air conditioning and all necessary facilities. The terrace was absolutely beautiful and provided stunning views of the famous castle. Will definitely return, thank you.
The hotel, the room, the location- everything was excellent. A small hotel is located just in the Trani port area facing to the sea. Clean, spacious tasteful room. Comfortable bad and soft pillows! Great communication with the host. Great Wi-Fi. Fresh delicious croissants were delivered in an elegant box every morning. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel.
Friendly staff, personal attention and a comfortable clean room. The b&b is the optimum mix of b&b and hotel for me. An independent room with separate bath and great private space. A fabulous continental breakfast. A great location for walking about from the train station to all the sights, shopping, and dining. This b&b is a great value.
The apartment was very comfortable. Our room had the most comfortable bed and pillows during our stay in Italy. The room was charming and had a nice balcony looking over the rooftops. It was very conveniently located for exploring Trani. Breakfast was good and had some fruit and nuts as well as pastries. We will definitely stay again!
An old Palazzo restored at high standards.
Located exactly in the old port, near the Trani Cathedral, this hotel and restaurant is something not to miss if you are in Trani.
Spacious rooms, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, very well equipped and very clean everywhere. Delicious breakfast, with lots of ingredients.
The Palazzo Bianchi was great. Clean, convenient, friendly, and quiet. Pretty much everything in Trani was reachable on foot. We had a suite -- a large salon, a very large bathroom, and a cozy bedroom. The salon opened on the rear garden and was reached via a half flight of steps coming up from the inner courtyard.
The room was beautiful and very spacious. The location was perfect and super close to everything. The staff were amazing. Specially a girl named Francesca who managed my stay. She spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. She was beyond helpful. I loved my time in Trani and would love to go back soon.
Our room was perfect . A lovely little balcony which we used quite a lot to have a drink and watch the world go by in Trani . A spectacular view of the square and harbour. A spacious well thought out bathroom which is very important on a trip . Breakfast provided at the local cafe so nice .
The location was wonderful and the process was very smooth. Francesca was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had a good stay. The coffee at breakfast was the best coffee we had in Italy. It is an important part of our morning and it was excellent
The owner and his family are very nice and accommodating. They helped with our luggage and parking. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was big with a balcony and a small kitchenette, and a comfortable bed. Good location. If you in Trani a nice place to stay.
A good-sized, attractive and comfortable room very close to historic centre of Trani. The host was very attentive and helpful. A lovely fresh breakfast was delivered each morning from a nearby pasticceria. Free parking in surrounding streets.
Firstly the manager Nadia was so kind, friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean , comfortable and modern and really lovely. The location was perfect for seeing the sights of beautiful Trani
The host (couple) is very friendly and accomodation is central. It is clean and bed is comfortable. We stayed 2 nights incl breakfast. We recommend this accomodation if you would like to stay in Trani.
Very nice B & B, a little difficult being able to park our car close enough to unload luggage before going to parking garage. We loved Trani, especially down by the port. What fun
Location was excellent. A few minutes walking to restaurants. Free private parking on site which is always a luxury. Easy to find with many signs directing us to the hotel
Although I only stayed for one night I really enjoyed my time in this hotel. It make me want to stay longer con the beautiful city of Trani. Definitely I will come back
