The hotel was well situated and very clean. The room as well as the bathroom are a nice size and well decorated. The breakfast is good - it's in buffet form it has all you would need to be happy. They serve fresh orange, which is a very nice touch. There is an open roofed breakfast space as well a breakfast room. The people serving are very nice. If you arrive by car, you can drive up to the hotel to leave your suitcase and then find parking - which we did not find difficult.
The communication through WhatsApp is very seamless with the hotel team.

Ottima colazione, personale gentile e professionale!
Kite-shaped Trapani makes an impressive sight from lofty Mount Erice, connected to the peninsula below by cable car. On a clear day, the mountain also offers views of Tunisia - one destination of ferries from Trapani Port, alongside Cagliari, Pantelleria and the offshore Egadi Islands.
Overlooking the port is the old town, where arched doorways on narrow streets open onto many cheap apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com. Shabby chic façades sit alongside historic churches, such as understated Trapani Cathedral, somewhat lost amid elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where pavement cafes sit in front of pastel-coloured buildings and metal balconies.
At the tip of the peninsula is the fortress-like Tower of Ligny lighthouse, now housing the Prehistory and Sea Museum. The Colombaia Castle protects the port from an island to the south, while in the other direction the sweeping coastline passes some beachfront hotels with swimming pools.
Villa Margherita Park offers shade from the Mediterranean sun, and Triton’s Fountain graces a neighbouring square. The simple façade of the Basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata hides the treasures within, including a statue of the Madonna of Trapani which is at the heart of the Easter ‘Misteri’ celebrations.
Between the city and Trapani-Birgi Airport, historic windmills sit beside salt pans. The Salt Museum provides details of this major industry.
Trapani is a great "normal" town- not too touristy.
Trapani is a great "normal" town- not too touristy. There are great restaurants, good shopping, and you can reach a lot of wonderful places such as Erice, San Vito lo Capo, the Egadi Islands, Marsala and loads more. There are beaches, churches, ports...a bit of everything but at a relaxed level.

Trapani is lovely town nicely laid out with good public transport - although beware as the busses stop running by about 21:30 in the evening and none on a Sunday. A good selection of shops for those wanting to indulge.
The old town is stunning and a must to visit both during the day and particularly in the evening when it totally comes alive with an abundance of restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.

Surprisingly quaint with lots to do.
Surprisingly quaint with lots to do. Great sandy beaches, lots of shops and amazing restaurants and bars in the old town. Also provides easy access to lots of other places to explore like Erice via cable car, Egadi Islands by ferry and Marsala, Castellemare del Golfo by train and Palermo by bus. It wasn't overly touristy either and got a really nice, more authentic experience here compared to some of the other cities in Sicily. Highly recommend! 3-4 days would be perfect

It was our second trip to Sicily in October.
It was our second trip to Sicily in October. This is great time to visit the island. Trapani is really beatiful, great Old Town, fine cuisine (busiata alla Trapanese !!!). Great trips: San Vito Lo Capo, Erice (!!!), Egadi Islands, salinas...
However, too much garbage on the side streets...
The room was very spacious and you could really settle in for longer stays and feel at home. It had 2 full bathrooms and a large bedroom. Full kitchen was great as we didn't want to go out for dinner.
Host was very helpful and friendly. Washing machine was great as we were mid way through a large road trip around Sicily. Room on the terrace for hanging washing.
The room had several air-conditioners and looks like oil heaters through all the rooms for winter.
The location of the stay is in one of the better areas of Trapani.
Lovely little hotel in the heart of Trapani! Well located: it is a short walk to the beach, port, centre, etc. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. We loved the sea theme throughout! Despite being there in August, we were able to keep our room cool and mosquito-free. We enjoyed the breakfast - a buffet with a nice selection - and we had dinner at the restaurant one night, which was lovely, and you get 10% off as a guest of the hotel. The staff were really friendly. Excellent value for money!
Wow…what a beautiful building! Our room was so large and gorgeous! There was a complete living room area in addition to the bedroom and as far as bathroom sizes in Sicily, it was fairly large as well. Everything was tastefully done and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and it was really nice having the bar in the evening. The location is great, right on the edge of the old city and very walkable. The owner was only present during breakfast but very friendly and sweet.
The localization was perfect, right in the city centre, close to main beaches. The breakfast was delicious, we will always remember the tastiest local jams and croissants which the host gave us fresh every morning. The host was professional, kind and helpful. We felt like we were hosted by a family member. The apartament was like a five-star hotel, very clean, spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be back at Carlo’s Rooms when in Trapani!
Rooms of Andrea Hotel is a great place to stay, just inside Trapani’s lovely Old Town and very near great beaches. The hotel is in a renovated space that was beautifully executed. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfasts could be taken indoors or out with a array of delicious foods. The front desk and the rest of the staff were terrific! We were welcomed and well cared for. We loved our stay there.
Perfect location to visit favignana and Trapani, quiet and secluded.
Toto and Michelle (pronounced mikel) were super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast and the facilities were what stood out for us.
Lovely Nonna preparing and serving breakfast into the garden conservatory.
One of the best breakfast we've had in Sicily.
Shame we didn't have time to try the other facilities we will return!
just perfect!!! very nice and clean apartement for very good price, the kitchen is so cool also the bathroom. beds very comfy. the owner was very kind to us, giving us the map and some information! in the historical center, close to the beach and port, 2 small markets with food arround. we took two nights when we were leaving sicily. bus station to the airpot also close.
We had the best last day in Sicily thanks to Francesco. :) He greeted us in person, explained and showed everything, even took us to breakfast. He is a very friendly person and we enjoyed our stay very much. Apartment is near city center and everything you might need. It was a great choice and we recommend it to everybody.
The greatest accomodation through our trip in Sicily. :)
we got our keys from owners - they told us everything we needed to know. Flat was looking really nice and new, we even used washing machine - which was huge plus! :)
The location is really great, lot of parking spots near by and close to the old centre.
First of all- Agostino and Manuella. They are both exceptional hosts. Real people. Friendly.
Second - the place is well localized within Trapani and Erice so it’s easy to see all that’s around
Third- the place is clean and cozy. Like your own place. It is also a departure from the usual hotels . Very welcome .
Great location, free parking behind building in private space. Apartments are very modern, big and stylish. Great price performance. Probably the best accommodation in our 14 day trip to Sicily(we changed apartments 8 times).
Also, the host/manager is very friendly and always ready to help.
- Super friendly and helpful staff
- Very clean, modern and beautifully minimalistic apartment that looks exactly like in the pictures
- All amenities as needed
- Windows in every single room
- Very good location to explore Trapani, walk to the beach or to the harbor
The flats in the building are quite big and can even fit 4 people easily
It is located near the beach and the Trapani port, you can get to both quite quick.
Alberto, one of the people that welcomed us, was super nice and very helpful with the perfume situation.
this was our second stay in Ai Lumi. the location is excellent and the staff were very professional and accommodating. breakfast was good and the hotel was quiet even though it is on a busy pedestrian walking and eating street.
lovely restaurant with fantastic food, brilliant breakfast with the best coffee we had in Sicily, great service so helpful and friendly, lovely pool and beautiful setting. really magical scenery, very peaceful.
This was cozy house in small village 6 km from Trapani. Nice hosts. Very clean. Excellent place to discover west Sicilia by car. You must by ready to get all facilities by car: beach, store, restaurant
