Beautiful area, lovely panoramas, great position due to Passo dello Stelvio, Passo Gavia, Mortirolo, Cancano lake or Livigno. Great termal pool (QC Therme Bormio), amazing little natural thermal pool (hidden) beside the ice cold river about 7km away. Lots of little playgrounds with fresh water and sitting in a shade - great for kids. Classic shops such as Le Corti, ice cream shops and cafés all around the little town of Bormio.

The hotel/restaurant/bar opposite, Vallechiara was lovely, great beer, wine and food. The ski bar next to the lift was fantastic. Great food and drink at very reasonable prices for a ski resort. The view from window was also very nice. Owners were more than happy to help us. Private parking with direct entrance to ski storage was very convenient after skiing. 5 minutes from Bormio center by car. There was also available ski bus jus down the road (300 meteres from Chalet). Best value for money I have ever been skiing in the Alps.

Only minutes to the town centre. Bormio is a gorgeous place. make sure you go to the Leonardo thermal pool up in the forest. The old town at night is special. Make sure you have the instructions for the cooktop and microwave.

Kitchen in wood- mountain style, but with touch screen oven and big terrace window doors, leading to wonderful nature view. I can not ask anything more for a place made for rest and good memories. It has own parking and it is only 4 min with car from the center of Bormio.
