Great location from the train station , lots of restaurants and shops around. Accidentally booked a smoking room but they accommodated my request to get a non-smoking room.

It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. Airport bus to Narita and Haneda airports, although schedules not as frequent as pre-COVID check in advance.

Fujisawa is wonderful and relaxed, and we come here at least 3 times per year to get away from the city. It's so nice to be able to come and NOT rush, which is why we now always stay overnight. Otherwise it's too stressful to do and see things and then get back on a train to go home on the same day.
There ARE vegetarian and vegan-friendly places, but you have to find them. Use Happy Cow or another search engine to research before you come. Otherwise you'll be eating dinner at a convenience store (which isn't awful). Also, there aren't many places to eat breakfast unless you're ok with just a bakery.

Fujisawa is a beautiful city.
Fujisawa is a beautiful city. There’s something for everyone to enjoy whether you’re a city lover or a nature lover, you’ll find something fun and interesting to do. It’s not too far from Enoshima which is a great thing, it means you can access the beach by train in 10 minutes

We stayed in Enoshima, mainly to see the sights on the island. We didn't plan to spend much time on the beach - the facilities are basic and the sand and sea not too clean, but you could safely paddle and swim if you wanted to. Enoshima Island was interesting, the views from the tower and the rocks and caves were good. There were good views of Mount Fuji. There's not much else to see in Enoshima but Kamakura is close by train and definitely worth s day or two.

It's very smart to find a hotel in Fujisawa for the stay, if you may like to visit Kamakura area extensively for more days. I didn't plan any trip to visit and walk around in Fujisawa city, since Kamakura gathers so many interesting sightseeing venues there. In my views, Enoshima is just normal, so it is not necessary to list it into the must-be visiting, neither to buy the certain Pass the tourism office is promoting. If you may have spare time, just walk to visit it and climb up the not-so-high hill.
I've stayed in a few different guest houses, hotels, and inns and IZA definitely had the most comfortable bed. Most beds are really hard, which leave me sore in the morning but this one was totally comfortable. Also, everything was super clean and the location was perfect! Just off the main road by a few minutes' walk. I do plan to stay here again just because of how comfortable and convenient it was.
We loved the room size, because they upgraded us to the queen room which was really nice of them. The room itself was a unique interior with a lot of style and just the right amount of amenities that we needed and was the kind of hotel experience I dream about but usually don’t receive. Paid abit extra for the experience, but when you want to chill and have some down time this is the hotel for you.
The staff was so kind and helpful. They showed us to our room and around the facilities. The onsens were amazing- some of the best I've been to in Japan. Breakfast was great- so much food and such a great variety. They kept our bags during the day after we checked out while we explored. Would definitely recommend staying here. Easy to find, easy to access all of the activities on Enoshima Island.
Stayed here for some sightseeing on Enoshima when we couldn't book anything on the island itself. It was great value for money just steps away from the train station and the bus to Enoshima. We were definitely happy with the hotel. But if you are planning to see the island during peak season, I'd recommend getting an early start as there was a bit of traffic on the bus route there.
The property is an excellent location for Enoshima and Kamakura, but away from the tourist hubbub in a quiet neighborhood. The yakitori restaurant next door and the wine bar in the facility both serve delicious food. There's a wonderful coffee shop minutes away. The studio was comfortable, elegantly furnished and decorated. The staff was excellent and helpful.
The location was very close to the station and very easy to locate. This made traveling in the area very easy. There's a 7i/7-11 right next to the hotel, and very well stocked amenities. The self-check in was very easy and only took about a minute before I was in my room.
Inside the room, it was very quiet and easy to fall asleep in.
The Hotel onsen spa were unique and beautiful, historical "classed", almost 1 century old, in "art deco" retro style.
Amazing experience.
And all the staffs as soooo kind, as well as the diner (included in the room set we ask) was super delicious and good quantity.
A dream!
I have stayed here before so knew what to expect. There is nothing wrong with the hotel but as I have said in a previous review, I like a little more from a hotel. However, due to high school athletic events, this was the only place available for the night of my stay.
Our room over looked the beach in Japanese room. Room had beds on the ground on proper mattress and was comfortable. Two chairs and table near the window overlooking the beach. Small onsen was also in the hotel, yakatas and slippers provided for use.
Location is great, about 5 mins from Fujisawa station. There is a lot of food around the hotel. There is a 7-11 connecting to the hotel, you just need to get to level 1 and there is a door to 7-11
The location was not that far from Fujisawa Station, you can walk within 10~15 minutes then arrive at the hotel. The included breakfast was okay. And the drinks are free from many options.
The beds and pillows here were the #1 most comfortable I've experienced during my 1-month trip around Japan. Location is perfect, room was clean and not outdated, friendly staff.
The location is good - close to Fujisawa station, shopping and restaurants. very compact room, but spotless and with everything you need. The hotel also has a nice public bath.
