This was an interesting place, one our most memorable (in a good way) of our multi-stay ten day trip around Japan. We stayed here off-season two nights and thoroughly enjoyed each. They serve wonderful breakfasts and dinners of which we were both highly impressed at the care and professionalism in the preparation and presentation. The rooms are very comfortable with beds that gave each of us some of the best sleep we had during our trip. The bathroom and shower facility was equally excellent. Go here to relax. Don't go here expecting to be wowed by sites etc as there is little to do in the town. It was just the thing for us. We did some walking and it is a quick trip by taxi (or a good walk) to the train station where it is easy to make an excursion or two (be sure to check out Himeji Castle).

Perfect location for our stay. The women's hot spa was clean and perfect. I used it both nights of our stay. Breakfast was a little confusing because we just walked in without anyone to greet us. However, we enjoyed the breakfast food.

The room was spacious but still felt cozy and comfortable. The view from the large window was simply spectacular, there was a light rain storm the night we came and honestly it added to the experience, so relaxing….the staff was so friendly, some spoke very clear English but for the ones that didn’t had a little translation devise. I’m also a Celiac and can’t eat wheat, I gave the staff a head up and they accommodated my meals beautifully! I was able to enjoy the dinner and breakfast with my family without feeling like I was missing something.

The receptionist was very nice. She texted me when I was there late and use her translator to communicate with us. At that time, we are only one guest there. So it's like we are privilege guest. Hostel is very comfy and cozy. There are only 3 rooms for guest. Everything is perfect.
