Stayed here one night while on a bike trip during the COVID State of Emergency. Great room for the price, appealing courtyard for dining al fresco, nice staff who are bicycle-friendly, fantastic Italian dinner, good private bathing area and a nice breakfast. The adjacent pine forest beach area is nice. I’d definitely book again if bike touring Awajishima again.

My Japanese isn’t the best, but there was a staff member that spoke English, which made it very easy to check in. The facility was spotless, staff friendly, and location perfect.

A good place. A traditional Japanese building with good condition. The owner couple are friendly people, and they are feeding Japanese bees and planting their plants.
I would suggest this if you want to experience something Japanese vernacular in the mountain.
Some disadvantage. It is pretty hard to find with a broken asphalt tiny path. It is hard to reach if you don't have your own vehicle or without the owner's help.
And the old building keeps its ancient style, so there are no lockers between indoor and outdoor. Although it is a safe place and no one will come. But some people may feel anxious.
